The Coffee of my Days...

How do you feel after drinking your first cup of coffee in the morning?

For me to talk about coffee, one of my favorite drinks is magical, because it is part of my daily routine, its smell, its flavor makes me active in my day to day, it tells me that a new dawn is beginning which I must start and enjoy and the first moment I start with my cup of coffee. It is the moment when I pause, sit down, relax and begin to savor my magic cup of coffee, at that moment while I drink it, I begin to order in my mind my program for the day.

It is the moment when my husband and I take the opportunity to exchange our daily agendas and if we have something important to discuss we take advantage of the time to have a cup of coffee; it is like the opening to start a good conversation. After I have had my delicious cup of coffee I feel ready to face whatever it is, awake, active, focused on the activity I am going to start.

This happens to me a lot when during any activity I am doing, I pause and pour myself a cup of coffee, I return to whatever I am doing totally reactivated and even with new ideas, that's why for me coffee is magic. Depending on the moment I drink it I feel; if it is in the morning it wakes me up, it activates me. If it is in the middle of some activity it relaxes me and makes my concentration optimal, even if I drink a cup of coffee in a sad moment, it comforts me, it brings me warmth, that is my feeling.

If I share coffee with friends, who also love coffee, it is something very crazy because we can have more than one cup accompanied by cookies or sweet bread, without realizing it is our "addiction" when we get together. In conclusion, for me coffee is my great companion at all times.
