Hi, sunny day. Hi, I hope you have a pleasant day for which to be grateful. Have you enjoyed a little time to relax, by drinking coffee or tea?
Today, it is still the same as the previous days. Still hot. On Sunday today, I held a family gathering, a once-a-month event to gather with many family members. Like a small party to strengthen brotherhood.
I finished with the meeting after lunch, around 2 pm. I asked my husband not to come home. I need to replenish my energy after I run out of energy to talk to my family members.
Coincidentally, there was a small cafe that had just opened near the rice fields. So, we went to that place.
This small place is called SAUNG BUDE. Saung means a place for relaxing with the family like a gazebo. Then, bude means aunt or a nickname for older women.
When we went there, this small cafe was already busy. Naturally, Sunday. Also, maybe because this cafe has just opened. So, local people are curious about this cafe.
In front of this cafe, there is a large tree to block sunlight so that this place looks shady. Continuing to step inside, we will see gazebo-like forms as a place to sit.
Or, more precisely, typical huts in rice fields that farmers usually use to rest after farming activities.
This place may be small, but it also feels outside because it is designed with a plantation-like atmosphere. There are lots of orange trees, bananas, and decorative flowers to beautify this cafe.
In several locations, used tires are also used with ceramic material added, which is converted into a table. Oh, that's really a brilliant idea to reuse old tires.
I chose a seat that might give me lots of creative ideas. It seems like the universe knows my habit of choosing a corner. Yes, there is an empty corner! I also got a good view.
Surrounding me is the atmosphere of green rice fields! Look how perfect relaxing the atmosphere is here! Beautiful view, of course with coffee. I just can't forget about coffee. :)
I ordered a hot cappuccino. Since this place is just a small cafe business, so I didn't have high expectations. And sure enough, the cappuccino served was the instant cappuccino that I sometimes drink at home, lol. But that doesn't really matter. The taste of cappuccino is already familiar to my brain so it's not a problem at all.
I like hot coffee, even when the weather is hot. I think it's good not to cause extreme temperature changes to the body by drinking iced drinks. That will actually make the body react badly.
I also think that hot coffee will have a distinctive aroma that is more pronounced than iced coffee. What do you think?
Then, I also ordered snacks. Local menu. Old-fashioned style fried bananas. Just simple but this menu is often found as a family snack here. :) Just yummy!
In fact, for a menu, it's only under $1. That is cool! At least, this small cafe provides a pleasant place for us to stop and rest from the trip. So, it would be great to be back at this place. <3
