Re-Veg Auto Flowers?? Things That Make You Go Hmmmmmmmmm...............

image.png

What's up fellow Weed Nerds? It has been 15 days since the last update, and I have to say things really have improved! Sure these ladies are small, but things have really gotten interesting. Crazy to think how having 3 plants no bigger than a plushie get interesting. How so you ask? Well these 3 are Auto Flowering Cannabis, meaning they start to flower automatically after a certain amount of time in their growth cycle, versus the Photoperiod Cannabis that needs 12 hours of complete darkness to be triggered to flower, which is what happens in the later part of the year when the days get shorter, or by switching your lights indoors. So it was very surprising to see that I may be experiencing Reveg with my Autos!

Me neither Arthur! But apparently it happens when a plant is stressed, which in this case being left to fend for themselves more than likely this is the case. Stress really can make a plant do some weird stuff, and this is one of the weirdest things I have learned about Autos.

Strain:1 Hawaiian Auto, and 2 Bubblegum Autos
Dominance:Cannabis Ruderalis
Nutrients used:Just added a Bloom Booster
Phenotype traits:Short
Lineage:Not sure
Current growing stage:Mid flower
Current plant age:75 days
Sex:Feminized
Location:Salinas Valley, CA

Hawaiian

The biggest of the 3. You can see the two bottom branches that grew out, which tbh even though this experience a Re-Veg, it does not seem to be much. It's almost like the plant needed the extra bit of growth have a better chance to breed, to ensure it would make another generation, which after all this is the plants entire purpose for living. It really is impressive to see it's will to survive!

Hopefully this Hawaiian fills in, and is one nice cola! She is sticky, and stinky. Can not wait to smoke her :)

Bubblegum

Re Veg did not really hit this one. I think it is due to the lack of stress the other 2 received.

Not bad for an Auto!

Here is the other Bubblegum. As you can see Re-Veg is more apparent. It was transplanted later that the previous one. Which I believe is what contributed to the stress, along with the Hawaiian.

This one is less full as the other 2, and really not expecting much from it. Still will be cool to see how it fairs out.

So there you have it, hopefully you also learned something new about Autos. IT would be cool to see them Reveg for a longer period, and see them turn into bigger plants, but I do not think that is what is happening here. Like I said I think they did that just out of necessity in order to be better breeders. But TBH I am loving my Cannabis Bonsai! They are so cute, don't you think?
