This recipe is nothing all too special, but my kid loves it. I always pair this with at least some fruits and berries; I know it’s not a super healthy option, but as hard as it can be to get kids ready for school in the morning, sometimes you just gotta take the easy win.
It’s just two Eggo waffles, cut like pies. The first one is put back together in its original shape, and then I invert the pieces of the second waffle to create the sun shape.
When I have it, I usually use maple syrup - but we were out of maple syrup today, so I did a caramel/chocolate combo, which went over very well :)
Anyway, as I was making this today, it reminded me of @celeste413 and her daughter’s love of ice cream 🤣 - so I just thought I’d snap a few pics and share!
