Traveling in today's world has gotten more difficult, but it can be well worth it!
One thing I realized when traveling in covid times is that the media makes it seem much worth than it is... One just has to turn off the TV (which is something I would recommend anyways) and stop reading the news for a while and the whole world all of a sudden looks a lot better again!
Contrary to what I expected, there weren't any difficulties crossing the border (of course by car it's the easiest way). Different countries really do take different approaches in dealing with this pandemic and so it was a welcomed surprise to see people being a bit more "normal" in regards to this.
Anyway, we arrived at the beach and got our first sun set as well! The weather forecast fortunately was quite bad, and we got sun instead of rain :) But that is to be expected near the sea. I just thought I'd share these sunset pictures as this was a really interesting one. The sun dipped into the clouds on the horizon and it created a really cool striped pattern on its surface.
