The pen glides over the paper like a dancer, the ink making history with every stroke. Outside the world has grown colder and lives are starved due to their wanting.

The sun takes a moment to illuminate the author's page, dusty rays, a broken window, a cold breath and then an appreciative pause. As the pages fill, the words acquaint themselves with their kin.

The sentences form paragraphs and the paragraphs, chapters; They identify themselves and understand. They look beyond to the real world; What now they ask?

A tear stains the final page as darkness descends on miseries end.

This was my entryish for the #dreemwotw Drabble contest with Dreemport.com

I chose the topic "They are not ready for us" and maybe sprinkled in some "Real World".
