The photos show views of the ”Ruinas de Huanchaca” (Huanchaca Ruins) located at Antofagasta (Chile). They are the ruins of a silver processing plant of the 19th century. They are witness of the strong mining activity in the region that have been for almost two centuries.
The photos were taken with a Sony DSC-R1 and edited in Gimp.
La fotos muestran un par de vistas de las Ruinas de Huanchaca, las cuales se encuentran en Antofagasta (Chile). Estas ruinas corresponden a una fundición y planta de procesamiento de plata del siglo XIX. Son testigos del fuerte actividad minera de la región por casi dos siglos.
Las fotos fueron tomadas con una cámara Sony DSC-R1 y editadas en Gimp.
