I know these so-called "Weck jars" in this form as long as I can remember. They come in different sizes, this one is more of a small version. With a rubber seal and two metal clips, you can seal the glass lid absolutely airtight and use it to preserve or ferment food.
But I also love them to store something, for example, these delicious sweets in it. Chocolate Drops with mint flavor. Also for dog treats I had used them in the past. It's convenient because you can see right away what's inside. This not only looks pretty, but is also ingenious, because completely plastic-free and we need more of it in our lives!

Old Style Weck Gläser für den POB Foto Contest
Diese sogenannten "Weck Gläser" in dieser Form gibt es schon seit ich denken kann. Es gibt sie in verschiedenen Größen, dieses hier ist eher eine kleine Variante. Mit einer Gummidichtung und zwei Metallklammern kann man den Glasdeckel absolut Luftdicht verschließen und damit Lebensmittel einkochen oder fermentieren.
Ich liebe sie aber auch, um zum Beispiel diese leckeren Süssigkeiten darin aufzubewahren. Schokodrops mit Minze. Auch für Hunde Leckerlis hatte ich sie früher verwendet. Es ist praktisch, weil man gleich sieht, was darinnen ist. Das sieht nicht nur hübsch aus, sondern ist auch genial, da vollkommen Plastikfrei und davon brauchen wir mehr in unserem Leben!
