Far away from the country that begins with C
Came a virus in the Spelling initial beginning with C
You came contact first with those whose country name begins with C
In a blink of an eye, you traveled all over the counties
So surprised how you so young at 19 years would circle the world
Yes you've come to stay and cause many deaths
Others isolated and kept from their loved ones against their wish
And in the fear and ignorance of proper management of the virus
Boarders of the world were shut down from the world
Nations shut down from each other
Spots, education, aviation, transportation, markets all backed down
And tons of tons of families weep
Over their loved ones whose lives the virus claimed
The medical personal were not spared at all
My heart goes out to those in Italy
Who in a day lost their doctors
New laws and guidelines were enacted
To help cope the spread of the virus
Lockdown inside the house
With nothing to eat, drink or do
And in our quest to go in search of food
We are being told to do the following:
Wear a protective face mask in the public
Cough or sneeze in your bent elbow
Do not touch your face nose or eyes
COVID-19 is real, please stay safe and adhere to the World Health Organization W.H.O directives.
