desde niña siempre recuerdo que viajábamos en todas las vacaciones, el día de hoy vengo a contarles la que fue mi semana santa del año 2014.
Since I was a child I always remember that we used to travel on all holidays, today I come to tell you about my Holy Week in 2014.
Mi familia es de el estado Bolívar, Venezuela, junto con mi mama mis hermanos y yo viajabamos a visitar a mi abuela siempre, para esta ocasión viajamos por los motivos de su cumpleaños que cae unos dias antes de la semana santa. ya llegados allá mis tíos nos dicen que le tenían una sorpresa y que debido a ello viajaríamos a Puerto La Cruz,estado Anzoategui en Venezuela,yo estaba muy emocianada por ir, amaba ir alla,es una ciudad que me cautiva completamente, todo el mundo esta en las calles como si nada les preocupara,rodeados de playas y grandes edificios. En fin, emprendimos rumbo a nuestro destino, no sin antes elegir en que carro se iba cada quien, mis primos y yo siempre ibamos en el carro de mama, ella es muy loca y le encanta la musica electronica a todo volumen asi que nos divertiamos mucho.
My family is from the state of Bolivar, Venezuela, together with my mother, my brothers and I always traveled to visit my grandmother, for this occasion we traveled for the reasons of her birthday that falls a few days before Easter. Once we arrived there my uncles told us that they had a surprise for her and that because of this we would travel to Puerto La Cruz, Anzoategui state in Venezuela. I was very excited to go there, I loved going there, it is a city that captivates me completely, everyone is in the streets as if nothing worried them, surrounded by beaches and big buildings. Anyway, we set off for our destination, not before choosing which car to take, my cousins and I always went in mom's car, she is very crazy and loves loud electronic music so we had a lot of fun.
Al llegar a nuestro destino mi abuela se encontró con la sorpresa de que entre toda la familia le tenian una fiesta preparada en un hotel,en el cual nos quedamos por toda la semana, disfutamos mucho esa noche, entre relatos divertidos y familia.
When we arrived at our destination, my grandmother was surprised to find that the whole family had prepared a party for her in a hotel, where we stayed for the whole week.
Luego en la mañana decidimos emprender viaje a una rica isla y pasar todo el día en la playa, nos montamos en un peñero que iba super rápido y casi sentías que en cualquier momento alguno de nosotros caería al agua si no se sostenía bien de algo, al llegar decidimos acomodarnos cerca de la orilla, los adultos se pusieron a hacer conversación con algunos tragos, mientras que nosotros jugabamos en el agua como si no hubiese un mañana.
Then in the morning we decided to go on a trip to a rich island and spend the whole day on the beach, we got on a crag that was going super fast and you almost felt that at any moment one of us would fall into the water if we didn't hold on to something well, when we arrived we decided to settle down near the shore, the adults started to make conversation with some drinks, while we played in the water as if there was no tomorrow.
Llegada la hora de irnos paso un pequeño percanse, uno de mis primos mayores al cual le decimos Pancho, no estaba con nosotros asi que hicimos una busqueda de una hora tratando de encontrarlo. al cabo de dos horas preocupantes Pancho apareció caminando muy sonriente hacia donde estábamos, tenia algo escrito en el pecho, cuando le preguntaron donde estaba el solo amplio su sonrisa y dijo "estaba con unas modelos y mira me dieron su numero" todos comenzamos a reir, no tanto por la historia, si no porque al numero de la misteriosa modelo le faltaba un digito. resuelto el problema regresamos al rico hotel a descansar.
When the time came to leave, a little mishap happened, one of my older cousins whom we call Pancho, was not with us so we did a one-hour search trying to find him. After two worrying hours Pancho appeared walking very smiling towards where we were, he had something written in the chest, when they asked him where he was he only extended his smile and said "he was with some models and look they gave me his number" we all began to laugh, not so much for the history, but because the number of the mysterious model was missing a digit.
Los días siguientes solo fueron baños relajantes y bailes nocturnos, disfrutamos mucho esas vacaciones, siempre las recuerdo con alegría.
The following days were just relaxing baths and night dances, we enjoyed those holidays very much, I always remember them with joy.
