Me llenan de emoción cosas como lo que sucedió este fin de semana en Ciudad Guayana, dentro de tantas cosas tristes que a veces nos roban el ánimo, llegan esos momentos que devuelven un poco la esperanza.

Tuve la oportunidad de ser el abanderado de la entrega al concejo municipal de la propuesta de ordenanza de protección animal de Ciudad Guayana, instrumento que fue admitido y aprobado en primera discusión este viernes.

Esto es una lucha en la que hemos estado involucradas muchas personas y que empieza a dar sus frutos, pronto viene la etapa de discusión publica antes de que sea definitivamente aprobada con los aportes de todos los que deseen involucrarse.

I had the opportunity to be the champion of the delivery to the municipal council of the proposed animal protection ordinance of Ciudad Guayana, an instrument that was admitted and approved in the first discussion this Friday.

Algo difícil de entender para algunos es que quieren ver cambios en las leyes pero no quieren que se hable de política, parece que no entienden que quienes cambian las leyes son los políticos y nosotros como ciudadanos debemos orientarlos por el camino correcto, mas interesante aun es saber que necesitamos el apoyo de todos, los de un bando político y del otro.

En esta oportunidad tuvimos la buena noticia de que el proyecto fue admitido por ambas facciones, ambos bandos políticos, es decir, la propuesta fue aprobada por unanimidad, todos entienden la importancia de contar con una ordenanza de protección animal, es una forma interesante de politizar sin politizar.

Lo que sucedió es que por lo ajustado de los tiempos, los reconocimientos del equipo veterinario y administrativo del equipo, que deberían ser como unos trofeos en acrílico grabado, no estuvieron a tiempo y por irresponsabilidad del proveedor llegaran un poco tarde, pero ya la actividad estaba montada, luego de disculparnos con ellos optamos por hacer entrega de unos certificados mas modestos pero que de igual manera resumen el hermoso trabajo que cada uno ha realizado en su espacio.
