How to Make Spicy Potato Cimol

Yooo hello my fellow hivers and all hive communities from around the world wherever you are. back again with me Jodi Pamungkas and Ema on the food and snack recipe blog that is very easy for you to make yourself at home without requiring a lot of money and time. happy thursday to all of you who are doing activities as usual at the office or at home with family, hopefully your situation is fine without any problems. thank you to all communities and hivers who have read and supported my previous post regarding the recipe for how to make pineapple jam flower bread. what do you think about this recipe? Cimol is a Sundanese food and snack that uses starch as the main ingredient, Cimol is usually sold on the outskirts of cities on the island of Java. I and Ema are quite interested to try to make this and hopefully we can make this Cimol for all of you. Well, the ingredients for making Cimol are certainly not expensive and you can get all these ingredients at the nearest supermarket or market. the first ingredients you have to prepare are 3 potatoes, tapioca flour, cornstarch, flavoring, pepper powder, salt, garlic and for the spicy taste I used Boncabe. You can replace the brands of these ingredients with brands available in your country . now let's start making this Cimol.

the first step, what you have to do first is prepare 3 potatoes and peel all the potatoes until there are no leftovers. after that, wash all the potatoes and cut the potatoes into small pieces until finished.

the second step, after you have cleaned all the potatoes, now all you have to do is prepare a frying pan and put enough mineral water into the pan. Then, put the potato pieces into the pan and boil the potatoes for a few minutes until the potatoes are really cooked and soft.

the third step, after the potatoes are really soft and cooked, now remove all the potatoes and cool all the potatoes. now we will prepare some garlic, puree 2 cloves of garlic until completely smooth.

the fourth step, after you have smoothed 2 cloves under the white, now what you have to do is puree the potatoes using a sieve. make sure you really smooth the potatoes until they are really smooth like the photo above.

the fifth step, after you have finished mashing the potatoes, now what you have to do next is put 9 tablespoons of tapioca flour, 3 tablespoons of cornstarch, the garlic that you mashed earlier, half a tablespoon of salt, half a spoon of salt for flavoring and half teaspoon pepper. Then, stir the mixture until everything is well blended.

the sixth step, after the dough can be shaped and is smooth, now all you have to do is round up all the dough until it's finished. You can also use a scale to make it the same size and weight. not too big.

seventh step, after you have finished forming the dough into rounds, now all you have to do is prepare a frying pan and put cooking oil into the pan. Then, put all the cimol dough into the pan and fry all the cimol until both sides are brown. all the cimol when the cooking oil is not too hot.

the last step, what you have to do in this last step is to put all the cimol into a bowl, then sprinkle the chili pepper according to your wishes into the bowl. Then, shake the bowl so that all the boncabe is evenly mixed with the cimol.
