A bit later of a morning yesterday before I got outside. It was rather warm considering the storm system trundling around the region. The farm is still covered in snow but just up the hill the bulk of it is melting off quickly. The southern hill gives a lot of shade in the yard to keep the snow and ice locked in place for a lot longer than all around us.
About 11am we had a couple stop to pickup their Azure order and we stood around and talked for a while. Once they left we got ready and headed to town. We went to eat breakfast at the Old European in north Spokane which is in the same parking lot as Denver Mattress. Once we ate we headed over to see the mattresses.
Our friend stopped by on Friday and noticed our bed is pretty worn. She could see the sag in it which helps explain why both our hips hurt in the mornings. After a good bit of research and a couple recommendations we figured on the Purple brand. We tried out all the different models and ended up going with the one we were figuring on, the hybrid premiere 3. We got the base for it that is adjustable and has massagers in the feet and head area.
This weekend they are having a killer sale and with no interest financing for 84 months, we couldn't say no. Our sleep is super important and a quality bed can make all the difference in the world.
We were able to bring our pillows home with us as well as the sheets and mattress cover. The bed and frame are available to pickup today which I will be doing before noon and also we get to take our old bed to them for recycling. Super nice that I don't have to worry about getting rid of it.
Once we were home from town I got the trailer hooked for my grain run this morning.
Got another sunset soak before it got dark.
Once the boys were finally to bed, since they don't have school today, we got out for the late soak. I could only last so long before I had to go in and pass out for the night.
I went to town already and got grain. It was snowing like crazy in town but hardly a flake here on the farm. In a bit I will empty the barrels of grain then I have to load up the mattress and box spring to take in, pickup our new one, get it in the house, and then set it up. There is no school so no wrestling practice tonight, and I need to spend time on my mandolin.
