Happy and blessed afternoon my dear friends of #Hive and very especially for this wonderful Community of #GEMS today I want to share with you a very beautiful day that we spent here in Chile this September 18 and 19 since the national dates are celebrated on this beautiful country where I am visiting and why I came to meet my granddaughter Emily. They have been very beautiful days where you can perceive the human warmth and this air of celebration everywhere, since practically the entire country dresses up for such a beautiful celebration in which all Chileans participate in such a pleasant and full of fun way joy.
The first place where we could appreciate their beautiful typical dance, the cueca, was in the CTUE church (Christ your only Hope) located in Cerrillos west of Santiago de Chile. The cueca is a national dance from here in Chile, so It is very popular among them, it is like saying joropo in Venezuela. This beautiful dance has spread to all regions of the country, and on these dates, September 18 and 19, they dance it in many presentations, schools, parades, among others. This dance was declared the national dance of this beautiful nation on September 18, 1979.
Como parte de este celebración fuimos invitados para un delicioso asado donde compartimos con amigos de mi hijo, fue un día muy bonito, el 18 y 19 de septiembre es común aquí en Chile hacer asados en todas las casas y es como hacer hallacas en Venezuela, es algo típico y que se hace en familia, donde todos entre cuentos y chistes pasan unos días llenos de alegrías y entusiasmos, por todas las calles se escuchan dichas celebraciones.
Friends, these dates are a time of national unity and celebration, the entire country is preparing to celebrate these national holidays here in Chile, and they are well known for their festive atmosphere, with family activities such as the traditional barbecue, music folklore and fireworks, they raise kites, we see how parents go out with their children to the parks and extensive fields to fly them with their children.
As part of this celebration we were invited to a delicious barbecue where we shared with my son's friends, it was a very nice day, on September 18 and 19 it is common here in Chile to have barbecues in all the houses and it is like making hallacas in Venezuela, It is something typical and done as a family, where everyone, between stories and jokes, spends a few days full of joy and enthusiasm, and these celebrations can be heard throughout the streets.

In summary, September 18 and 19 are essential national dates for Chile, as they commemorate the fight for independence, highlight the importance of the armed forces, and encourage unity and celebration of Chilean culture.
