With Christmas having come and gone, are you the type to keep the season's decors on until the New Year's, or do you just nostalgically move on as you box up ornaments as old as family traditions? Personally find myself more of the former IF I really did put up the effort of decorating during these times, but as one grows older and wearier and even have quite naughty furbabies, I'd think twice on putting fancy baubles up a tree where my cats will definitely wreck havoc on. Although if I'd had the time and came upon these adorably made Christmas Amigurumi balls as made by @inici-arte, I would have given the ornaments-only a try-- just for the sheer amusement of seeing the kitties have a blast with these clothed-balls, especially if they find a catnip surprise in the center. And with the holiday season not completely over, have you somehow come to the shocking realization that maybe you've grown quite the appetite during these times? Not to call anyone out as I've been quite excited for any season's themed goodies that tickles my sweet-tooth, but it also helps to assuade a certain anxiousness of mine after I read about this Holiday Mentality as shared by @erikah. Also made me curious enough to wonder if most people are like this during the holidays? Is it the collective cheer brought on during these times? I'm also quite curious of the many different family traditions and recipes usually served whenever these times come around, either way here's to wishing we all had a jolly weekend! ༶・・ᗰદ૨૨ʏ ᘓમ૨ıડτന੨ડ・・Image from @erikah post
If you think that was the last for this week's features, I've yet to talk about the inbetween days you could possibly spend your time on as you watch the days fleet by, much like how I read somewhere that the last 6 days of this year inevitably keeps your mind from working, so here I talk about Gone Home as shared by @gabotask which is another game for you about family and mysteries! Perfect for a season when family reunions are the norm, our protag here comes home to an otherwise empty house and we've got to find out by snooping around point-and-clicking and see if we'll find any clues as to our family's whereabouts. More categorized on Steam as under Mystery rather than Horror, the still pictures of the room you do find yourself in your otherwise empty home is quite admittedly creepy, so note to self, not to play this home alone. Aside for coming home for the holidays, some families I know of would rather plan a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city and just take a breather and celebrate away from home, what better way than to avoid the freezing chill of a white winter Christmas than to let the beachside heal your weary soul and @nicolas.carreiro has got just about the perfect shots from this northeastern Brazilian coast of Praia das Minas. Looking as if there are no near resorts, you might want to plan a more thorough research the next time you decide to go here, book a nearby hotel near this coastline before it gets run over by a deluge of tourists, and viola! A most perfect sunset-filtered beach getaway! (キ▼O▼)/image from @nicolas.carreiro post
No shame in being a homebody if you'd rather not do any of the couple previous activities, or if you're more into a retrospective hobby that can indulge your sense of the arts much like how this painting as wonderfully made by @leonardo817 shows not just what depicts as a self-portrait, but also the many works that surrounds the main focus of this piece. I also greatly appreciate how even the side masterpieces in this work are depicting in a certain detail that doesn't make you think it's been skimmed through, but rather great care has been painstakingly put into the creation of such awesome work! ☝(๑•́ ヮ •̀๑)☝image from @leonardo817 post

Again a huge heartfelt thanks to all of you who have posted such amazing content. I hope to include you all in future Roundup posts!

For now, this ESM (Epic, Smile, Maker) is signing off.

Have a great day!
