Hola comunidad de #HIVE. Soy Jesús Hernández (david17-sw). Hoy compartiré con ustedes mi experiencia haciendo senderismo con mi amigo @isaac-mir en el "Cerro del Hotel Maracay", ubicado en mi localidad. Mientras les relato un poco de cómo fue les expondré algunas fotografías tomadas en el sitio.
Hello #HIVE community. I'm Jesús Hernández (david17-sw). Today I will share with you my experience hiking with my friend Isaac in the “Cerro del Hotel Maracay”, located in my locality. While I tell you a little of how it was I will show with you some pictures taken at the site.
Primeramente teníamos planeado ir al río, pero pasamos por alto el hecho de que ese día el sitio no abre, así que luego de discutir entre varias opciones decidimos ir al Cerro, para así no dar el día por perdido. Ya luego de varios minutos estábamos en el bus en dirección a nuestro destino.
First we had planned to go to the river, but we overlooked the fact that the site is not open that day, so after discussing between several options we decided to go to the Cerro, so as not to waste the day. After several minutes we were on the bus heading to our destination.
Al llegar desayunamos y calentamos un poco antes de comenzar la ruta, nos hidratamos e iniciamos el senderismo.
Upon arrival we had breakfast and warmed up a bit before starting the route, hydrated and started hiking.
En el primer tramo del camino es de cemento, en los laterales hay vegetación de bambúes y diferentes tipos de plantas. Al culminar se encuentra "la primera estación" en la cual hay un mirador y un pequeño espacio en el que las personas pueden ejercitarse.
The first stretch of the road is made of cement, on the sides there is bamboo vegetation and different types of plants. At the end of the path is the “first station” where there is a lookout point and a small space where people can exercise.
Nos establecimos como desafío continuar el camino sin zapatos, a pesar del clima el suelo no se encontraba caliente, lo único que resultó incomodo fueron las piedras del camino, ya que de vez en cuando se atravesaba alguna y la pisábamos, ya cuando nos encontrábamos cerca de la "segunda estación", la verdad, a mí me dolían los pies y dimos por última esa parada y fuimos al río que se halla en esa estación, almorzamos y nos dimos un descanso.
We set ourselves the challenge of continuing the road without shoes, despite the weather the ground was not hot, the only thing that was uncomfortable were the stones on the road, because from time to time we crossed some and stepped on them, and when we were near the “second station”, the truth, my feet hurt and we made that last stop and went to the river that is in that station, we had lunch and we took a break.
El río es una zona muy agradable del "Cerro del Hotel Maracay", el agua que transita por dicho sitio es un poco fría pero agradable, cuenta con mucha vegetación, tanta que es muy poca la iluminación del sol, contiene muchas rocas muy grandes, así como las podrán apreciar en la siguientes fotografías, ya luego de estar un rato en el río, emprendimos camino a nuestros hogares. La experiencia fue muy genial y grata, el estar en contacto de la naturaleza es algo que atrae mucha paz, mucha tranquilidad.
The river is a very nice area of the “Cerro del Hotel Maracay”, the water that flows through this site is a little cold but pleasant, has a lot of vegetation, so much that there is very little sunlight, contains many very large rocks, as you can see in the following pictures, and after being a while in the river, we went on our way to our homes. The experience was very cool and pleasant, being in contact with nature is something that attracts a lot of peace, a lot of tranquility.
