About a week ago I wrote this post talking about the upcoming season of BOID.
BOID is a social supercomputer that leverages the unused resources on your computer to solve small portions of bigger problems that are usually reserved for super computers.
BOID has been participating in the World Community Grid for quite some time now and its members contribution towards mapping cancer markers has been nothing short of significant.
Season 4 which starts on April 27th is dedicated solely to Corona Virus Research. In addition to solving real world problems, you also earn BOID tokens as your CPU or GPU processes "work units".
As team leader for the EOS Detroit BOID team, I am happy to announce our team prizes for this season!
