Turkey's Famous Flavor: Lahmacun / How is lahmacun made?

Each country has its own dishes and flavors. I live in Turkey, where the most beloved people, one of the meals that take a lot of taste: I would like to introduce to you the lahmacun. It may not be a restaruant selling lahmacun in the country you find, so I will also give you information on how it is done in my article.

What is Lahmacun?

  • Lahmacun is a type of pizza-like dish that you can make with a microwave oven or by cooking in the oven oven in your home, after you prepare the ingredients prepared with mince, parsley, onion, garlic and pepper on the dough. Compared to pizza, its dough is thinner and it contains ingredients such as mushrooms, cheese and eyebrows. We can say the biggest differences between pizza and lahmacun. As one of the best places to eat pizza while living in the west of Turkey's most eastern Turkey. especially in those places special sauce they use their local Chipotle and red pepper: Sanliurfa, Turkey's eastern cities like Gaziantep, where you can eat the best pizza.

How is lahmacun made?

  • First, pour the milk into a large volume container to prepare the dough for the lahmacun. Then you need to add salt with oil, then gradually add flour. We can say that it is the hardest part of the work to have the consistency of the Lahmacu's hamnur; Add water until you find the consistency of the dough.

  • Flour the loom you use and cut the dough into small pieces.

  • Meanwhile, put the minced meat in a large volume plate to create the lahmacun's mortar. Pull onions and green peppers until you have the finest rondo in your home. Otherwise, cut it into small pieces with a knife.
    Cut the tomatoes and your parsley into thin pieces in the same way. The last stage for lahmacun mortar; You will add tomato paste, oil and salt.

The last part is: Open your Lahmacun dough in a plate form and pour the mortar into it. With a fireproof steel pan, you can start frying your puddle on low heat.
