The fall of approximately 20 meters high is one of the tourist attractions par excellence of the Simón Planas municipality. The El Altar waterfall has cold crystal clear waters ideal for taking a dip and cooling off on a trip to Lara.
Fun is always present on the route to the waterfall, slopes, intricate descents and more are part of the recommended route for lovers of adventure tourism. To reach it have as a reference point the population of Sarare and from there the Gamelotal sector, where you will be guided by the inhabitants of the area.
The road is quite irregular so access must be done by rustic vehicle.
