Visiting another part of the country has always been a plan since I was a kid. It all made came true when I am able to earn on my own. This time I am with my husband who also loves to visit different places in the country. He's the one who encourages me to travel and see what the mother nature always have for us.

Cebu to Palawan is quiet far. We need to take a plane from Cebu international airport to Puerto Princesa airport. When we arrived, we had our hotel car waited for us to send us to the hotel and after lunch took us on a day tour. It was fun on the first day in Palawan.

The next day was adventure. We booked a trip to underground river a week before we arrived. Then on the second day of our stay, a tour agency came in a van with other 10 tourists. It was a day full of excitement specially that all of us in the same tour agency and in the same van would have the first time experience in one of the 7 wonders of the world.

After 2 hours drive, we arrived at the port where we get the boat to bring us to the other island where the underground cave entrance was. We took a motor boat and after 5 to 10 minutes we got to the destination. Of course photo taking wouldn't be missed and its a big part of every travel a would made. It's a mandatory. Evidence based😂.

Then time for us to go where we took a paddle boat handled by a tour guide that brought us safely inside. We were handed a devise with a red earphone to listen to the audio that leads and introduced what we see inside. Using the devise avoids noise that will interrupt the different species living inside.

I got scared a little bit since the water within was so deep and knowing I couldn't swim. For safety purposes we have a life jacket mandatory to wear when going inside.

There was a lot of foreigners that time, it was a good sign that tourism is back again in Palawan after the pandemic.

One of my observations was that Puerto Princesa Palawan was very clean. I couldn't see any garbage on the streets. The people where very nice, friendly, and accommodating.

It was one of the best trip I had! How about you, have you been to Palawan? What was your experience? See you soon again!❤️
