Hive and My Road to 75K Hive Power: 67K HP Surpassed! + My Partecipation in Hive Power Up Day!
Today is October 1 of the year 2024 and like every first day of the month:
I like to publish a post in which I check and share my progress on Hive
I like to share a little focus on the value of the HIVE token
I like to participate in the Hive Power Up Day initiative which is a nice recurring initiative of every first day of every month.
I like to set and share my resolutions for the month just started.
One month ago, on September 1, 2024, 1 HIVE had a value = $0.1772 and was at the 354 place considering the Market Cap
Today, October 1, 2024 1 HIVE has a value = $0.1875 and is located at place 362 considering the Market Cap
In a one-month time interval, Hive improved its market value but worsened its position considering the Market Cap.
In a 30-day time interval (September 1, 2024 - October 1, 2024), the dollar value of the HIVE token increased by +$0.0104 = +5.87%
I have written it many times in my monthly reports and I will never get tired of rewriting/repeating it that this current value of the HIVE token is for me a highly underestimated value in relation to the many utilities and potential that the Hive blockchain has (this is my personal opinion and is not financial advice).
To me the HIVE token should be worth much more especially when I consider the current market value of so many tokens such as meme coins that often have only one use case: speculation!
In my opinion what could increase the competitiveness and especially the attractiveness of Hive are the smart-contracts that Hive does not have but are under development and I personally look forward to their implementation.
In my opinion Hive does not need marketing, especially if that marketing is fruitless and does not produce new subscribers/stakeholders as pointed out in this interesting post by @acidyo: Hive marketing thoughts.
Hive needs applications that increase its usefulness and that is why I will only vote for DHF proposals related to applications from now on.
Hive is not perfect and is improvable but it is the only Web 3.0 place I like to be and spend my free time because I enjoy:
- writing content
- playing Hive-based games
- reading, interacting and supporting content of other Hive authors.
Regarding the content published by other authors in the month of September I read many interesting posts including the post by @livinguktaiwan whose reading I recommend to new users of Hive but also to old users because checking one's activity on Hive is always important to always try to improve.

While I await with much interest the implementation of smart-contracts on Hive my focus is on increasing my Hive Power (=HIVE staked).
In June I finally became an Orca and since then I have been running to try to reach my main annual goal: to reach an amount of 75K HP by the end of 2024.
Today is also the tenth Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) of the year 2024.
Hive Power Up Day is a good initiative that I enjoy participating in and in fact I have participated 43 times in the Hive PUD including 25 times consecutively and I do not want to break this good habit of mine.
Today I did a Hive Power Up = 389 HIVE -> +389 HP.
Thanks to the Power Up I did today, I reached an amount of 67496.61 HP.
To monitor my progress toward Orca status and toward my annual goal but especially to self-motivate myself at each beginning of the month, I created a table in which:
I mark at each beginning of the month my monthly increases in Hive Power
I calculate an intermediate monthly goal that will be bigger or smaller based on my results in the previous month.
In the time interval September 1, 2024 - October 1, 2024, I increased my Hive Power by +2401.84 HP.
In September I accumulated a good amount of HP and even much better than the amount of HP I accumulated in August (+1613.87 HP).
This improvement is mainly due to the fact that during September I increased my posting activity compared to August:
- I published 24 posts (+12 posts compared to the previous month).
However, I am not satisfied with the number of comments I wrote during the month of September because my Comments/Post ratio decreased and this ratio is something I consider very important to grow on Hive!
My first resolution for the month of October is to bring my monthly Comments/Posts ratio back above the value of 20 which is the value I have usually exceeded in many previous months.
Reaching an amount of 75K HP by the end of the year will not be easy because I will still have to gain 7503.38 HP with an increase in average monthly HP of 2501.13 HP but I will work hard to achieve it.
My resolutions for the month of September are:
- I will try to increase the number of posts published
- I will try to increase my level of interaction
- I will try to support at least 100 different accounts

67K Hive Power Superato e il mio percorso verso 75K Hive Power!
Oggi è il primo ottobre dell'anno 2024 e come ogni primo giorno del mese:
mi piace pubblicare un post in cui controllo e condivido i miei progressi su Hive
mi piace condividere un piccolo focus sul valore del token HIVE
mi piace partecipare all'iniziativa Hive Power Up Day che è una bella iniziativa ricorrente di ogni primo giorno di ogni mese.
mi piace fissare e condividere i miei propositi per il mese appena iniziato.
Un mese fa, il 1 settembre 2024, 1 HIVE aveva un valore = 0.1772$ e si trovava al posto 354 considerando il Market Cap
Oggi 1 ottobre 2024 1 HIVE ha un valore = 0.1875$ e si trova al posto 362 considerando il Market Cap
In un intervallo di tempo di un mese Hive ha migliorato il suo valore di mercato ma ha peggiorato la sua posizione considerando il Market Cap.
In un intervallo di tempo di 30 giorni (1 settembre 2024 - 1 ottobre 2024) il valore in dollari del token HIVE è aumentato di +0.0104$ = +5.87%
L'ho scritto tante volte nei miei report mensili e non mi stancherò mai di riscriverlo/ripeterlo che questo valore attuale del token HIVE è per me un valore altamente sottostimato in rapporto alle tante utilità e al potenziale che ha la blockchain di Hive (è la mia personale opinione e non è un consiglio finanziario).
Per me il token HIVE dovrebbe valere molto di più soprattutto se considero il valore di mercato attuale di tanti token come le meme coins che hanno spesso un solo caso d'uso: la speculazione!
Secondo me quello che potrebbe aumentare la competitività e soprattutto l'attrattiva di Hive sono gli smart-contracts che Hive non ha ma che sono in fase di sviluppo e io personalmente non vedo l'ora che vengano implementati.
Secondo me Hive non ha bisogno di marketing, soprattutto se questo marketing è infruttuoso e non produce nuovi iscritti/stakeholders come evidenziato in questo interessante post di @acidyo: Hive marketing thoughts.
Hive ha bisogno di applicazioni che aumentino la sua utilità e per questo motivo, d'ora in poi, voterò solo le proposte DHF relative alle applicazioni.
Hive non è perfetta ed è migliorabile ma è l'unico posto web 3.0 in cui mi piace dedicare il mio tempo libero perchè mi piace:
- scrivere contenuti
- giocare agli Hive-based games
- leggere, interagire e supportare i contenuti degli altri autori di Hive
Riguardo ai contenuti pubblicati dagli altri autori nel mese di settembre ho letto tanti post interessanti tra cui il post di @livinguktaiwan la cui lettura la consiglio ai nuovi utenti di Hive ma anche ai vecchi utenti perchè fare un check della propria attività su Hive è sempre importante per cercare sempre di migliorarsi.

Mentre aspetto con molto interesse l'implementazione degli smart-contracts su Hive il mio focus è sull'aumentare il mio Hive Power (=HIVE staked).
Nel mese di giugno sono finalmente diventato un Orca e da quel momento sono in corsa per cercare di raggiungere il mio obiettivo principale annuale: raggiungere un quantitativo di 75K HP entro la fine del 2024.
Oggi è anche il decimo Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) dell'anno 2024.
L'Hive Power Up Day è una bella iniziativa a cui mi piace partecipare e infatti ho partecipato 43 volte all'Hive PUD di cui 25 volte consecutivamente e non voglio interrompere questa mia buona abitudine.
Oggi ho fatto un Hive Power Up = 389 HIVE -> +389 HP.
Grazie al Power Up che ho fatto oggi ho raggiunto un quantitativo di 67496.61 HP.
Per monitorare i miei progressi verso il mio obiettivo annuale ma soprattutto per automotivarmi ad ogni inizio mese ho costruito una tabella in cui:
segno ad ogni inizio mese i miei incrementi mensili di Hive Power
calcolo un obiettivo intermedio per il mese successivo che sarà più grande o più piccolo in base ai miei risultati nel mese precedente.
Nell'intervallo di tempo 1 settembre 2024 - 1 ottobre 2024 ho incrementato il mio Hive Power di +2401.84 HP.
Nel mese di settembre ho accumulato un buon quantitativo di HP e anche molto migliore del quantitativo di HP che ho accumulato nel mese di agosto (+1613.87 HP).
Questo miglioramento è dovuto principalemente al fatto che durante il mese di settembre ho incrementato la mia attività di pubblicazione rispetto al mese di agosto:
- ho pubblicato 24 post (+12 post rispetto al mese precedente)
Non sono però soddisfatto del numero dei commenti che ho scritto durante il mese di settembre perchè il mio rapporto Comments/Post è diminuito e questo rapporto è un elemento che considero molto importante per crescere su Hive!
Il mio primo proposito per il mese di ottobre è riportare il mio rapporto Comments/Posts mensile sopra al valore 20 che è il valore che usualmente supero ogni mese.
Raggiungere un quantitativo di 75K HP entro la fine dell'anno non sarà facile perchè dovrò guadagnare ancora 7503.38 HP con un incremento in HP mensile medio di 2501.13 HP ma mi impegnerò per riuscirci.
I miei propositi per il mese di settembre sono:
- cercherò di aumentare il numero di post pubblicati
- cercherò di aumentare il mio livello di interazione
- cercherò di supportare almeno 100 diversi accounts
