ELEVEN AUTUMN SHOTS ALONG THE ROAD TO ZMINJ

Zminj it's a small town in the central part of Istra, the peninsula on which I live, about fifty kilometers north of my hometown situated on the southern edge.

A week or so ago, I had to do some stuff there and visit some friends. That turned into a good opportunity ...

... to photograph the colorful seasonal atmosphere along the road.

There is always some agricultural work going on in that inland area, so I was driving slowly behind tractors and enjoying the landscape in quite a few stretches of the road that leads to Zminj and beyond.

I also stopped from time to time ...

... to stretch my legs and take a better look at the nature around me.

The autumn has plenty to offer along the road.

Some trees were in flame.

This arrangement of red and green looked like a sophisticated work of some landscape designer, but it happened through a natural, self-seeding process. Kind of accidentally from our human perspective.

I stayed in Zminj for a couple of hours ...

... and this last shot was taken on the way home, at the outskirts of the town called Vodnjan, about twenty kilometers from Medulin, my hometown.

And that's it, as always in these posts on HIVE, the photographs are my work - THE END.
