Photo Essay: Flowers

Hello everyone! 📷😎

When I remember my beginnings on Hive or even further back in time (Steemit), I used to post daily then too. Mostly flowers. What do I know, it suited me at the time, especially since somewhere around then smartphones got a bit better optics and phone photos finally looked good.
So, then, and even now, flowers are still one of my favorite subjects or scenarios for photos.
I have to admit that I don't consider myself a good photographer either, I usually have everything set on automatic, just some sharpness correction here and there. So, low-level photographer by necessity, not even amateur. :)

To continue, I was out for a walk in the city park where I usually walk and took some photos of spring flowers, these are the second spring flowers, the first ones being Snowdrops I already posted :)

One more thing, because this is a photo essay, there are more photos than words.
I mean, at first, I thought of uploading the photos in order, without the names of the flowers, but I figured it would be a good idea to at least write the name of the flower and a link to it because they don't grow everywhere.
Anyway, I'm not known for writing novels, so don't expect Umberto Ecco's The Name of the Flower! 😛

I first came across Chaenomeles japonica, called the Japanese quince, which is an ornamental shrub.

Next is Anemone nemorosa or the wood anemone.

And some daisies, Bellis perennis.

I walked further into the park, by the way, there are over fifty different types of trees in the city park, I'll probably write something about that one day...

And then common primrose or Primula vulgaris.

I also found pilewort or Ficaria verna, which is highly poisonous, and raw is deadly to animals that graze on grass, such as horses, sheep, and cows. And such a beautiful flower, huh :(

Not everything is spring, there's also something dried out, autumnal...

There is also Viburnum rhytidophyllum, which has not yet developed its blue blossoms...

The flowering bush weeping forsythia or Forsythia suspensa,

Here are also Narcissus or daffodils, a bit dirty from rain and mud :)

Taraxacum or dandelion is not lacking either.
For us here, it's the first spring vegetable we pick in the meadows. One of my salad recipes, if anyone is interested, is Dandelion Spring Salad.

I also found pink primroses, which are rare here.

And finally Prunus persica, or peach flowers.

Well, that would have been it, there were quite a lot of photos, but I had a craving for flowers and fulfilled it.
Now I'll wait for the summer meadow flowers.

Some of the photos will soon be available as transparent objects in the Hive's biggest public domain image library LMAC Image Library.

Thank you for your attention!

And here's something else:
There has been a lot of development in Hive core but documentation is outdated and updates are needed. So I invite you to support and vote for Hive devportal updates proposal by @good-karma.
