¡YA NO MÁS! Me jubilo de Discord y Telegram. Me mudo definitivamente a Hive, que es donde debo estar, comentando y curando comentarios.
Hace algunos meses, anuncié que creaba un grupo de Telegram para promocionar posts y videos, con el fin de apoyarnos y darnos a conocer. El grupo no ha crecido mucho (54 integrantes), pero al menos ha servido de promoción, que es para lo que fue creado. Igualmente anunciaba que creaba un grupo de WhatsApp, el cual sí que no tiene mucha gente y siempre está desierto. Creo que lo terminaré cerrando.
Sin embargo, he venido reflexionando en el hecho de que nuestro hábitat es Hive, no otros lugares. Ya lo expresé en este post. Este es nuestro ecosistema, aquí es donde vivimos o al menos, pienso yo, deberíamos vivir. Es aquí la colmena. La abejas salen de la colmena, sí, pero salen a buscar alimento, no a gastarlo, salen a buscar cosas que beneficien al panal, no a restarle. Aún así, afuera corren peligros y si salen mucho o duran mucho tiempo fuera, pueden morir.
¿Podemos "morir" si salimos mucho de Hive? Realmente no, nosotros seguiremos vivos, seguramente seguiremos publicando y nos seguirán votando, ¿pero sabes qué morirá? LA INTERACCIÓN, EL COMPROMISO, LA CONVIVENCIA, LA HERMANDAD, LA COMUNIDAD. Sí, esa que nos mandan a hacer y que confundimos con hacerla en Twitter, Discord u otros espacios.
La idea es ampliar el círculo de contactos, no minimizarlo, mucho menos cerrarlo. No digo que tengamos un grupo de amigos con quien sentirnos bien y compartir. Es normal y sano. Aún así, podríamos colocarnos como objetivo conocer y conocer gente, mientras más gente, mejor. No sabemos el oro que podamos conseguir en un post de un usuario de la India o el comentario motivador que nos puedan dejar un hiver de Nigeria. ¿Sabías que existen ballenas y orcas que no son precisamente anglosajonas o de habla hispana? En Alemania, Hungría, Blangadesh hay curadores muy buenos y poderosos.
@fermionico lo decía en estos días en su video, a propósito de su desnudo: "Hive es una plataforma cosmopolita, que nos permite viajar sin salir de casa". ¿Por qué limitarnos entonces a un servidor de Discord o un grupo de Telegram palmeándonos la espalda, lisonjeándonos o contando chistes entre conocidos y panas? ¡Cuando podemos conocer y aprender de tanta gente en tantas partes del mundo y hacer contactos, amigos, alianzas y hasta podríamos ganarnos un voto automático o una delegación de alguien poderoso que vea nuestro compromiso con Hive, no solo publicando, sino comentando, agregando valor a la plataforma, apoyando a otros con nuestro voto y mucho más!
No soy un proyecto poderoso, no tengo amigos que me den votos fuertes que lleven mis posts a $100 o $150, pero me siento privilegiado porque puedo contar con personas que he conocido en Hive que me han apoyado y que admiran mi trabajo. Mi intención y planes son generar iniciativas que agreguen valor a esta plataforma, educar y guiar a otros en lo que mejor sé hacer. Sé que seguiré sumando adeptos y eventualmente empezaré a recibir más y más apoyo y seguiré logrando alianzas importantes.
Quiero dejar claro, UNA VEZ MÁS, que no estoy en contra de otros medios de contacto y promoción. Estoy es en desacuerdo con el uso excesivo que se le da a esos medios. Telegram y Discord, o como los he llamado, la dupla TeleDisc, por ejemplo, sirven para comunicarnos, enviar documentos, tratar temas en privado que no son convenientes hacerlo en público o para reuniones con nuestro equipo de trabajo, etc. También nos sirven para promocionar nuestras publicaciones, para asistir a curaciones en vivo que tanto nos ayudan. Pero si priorizamos estos lugares por sobre Hive, entonces todo cambia, porque no, no es lo natural, opino yo, Y LO RECALCO, ES MI OPINIÓN, lo natural, es estar aquí y que TeleDisc (Telegram y Discord) nos permitan complementar eso que iniciemos aquí.
¿Cuál fue la decisión que tomé sobre este par?
TeleDisc (Telegram y Discord) serán mi newsletter, como mi correo electrónico, el lugar para difundir mis publicaciones, hacer anuncios importantes y por supuesto, comunicarme por privado con quien sea necesario. Solo eso. No esperen verme chateando en grupos o pasando tiempo en esos sitios. Respetaré a quienes lo hagan y no pretendo que me imiten, ni mucho menos. Es solo cuestión de método y estilo.
Hay mucha tela que cortar con este tema. Muchas aristas que salen por los birdes y que se pueden tratar. Hoy te hablé de la dupla "TeleDisc", y de lo que decidí respecto a ella. Luego te hablaré ellos de nuevo, pero de cómo podemos sacarle un provecho mayor, sin que nos robe el tiempo que le dedicamos a la plataforma. Sobre Twitter, también hablaré en otro momento.

NO MORE! I'm retiring from Discord and Telegram. I'm definitely moving to Hive, which is where I belong, commenting and curating comments.
A few months ago, I announced that I was creating a Telegram group to promote posts and videos, in order to support us and make us known. The group has not grown much (54 members), but at least it has served as a promotion, which is what it was created for. I also announced that I was creating a WhatsApp group, which does not have many people and is always deserted. I think I will end up closing it.
However, I have been reflecting on the fact that our habitat is Hive, not other places. I already expressed it in this post. This is our ecosystem, this is where we live or at least, I think, we should live. This is the hive. The bees come out of the hive, yes, but they come out to forage for food, not to spend it, they come out to find things that benefit the hive, not to subtract from it. Even so, they are in danger outside and if they go out too much or stay out too long, they can die.
Can we "die" if we go out of Hive too much? Not really, we'll still be alive, we'll probably still post and we'll still get voted on, but you know what will die? THE INTERACTION, THE ENGAGEMENT, THE SHARING, THE BROTHERHOOD, THE COMMUNITY. Yes, the one they send us to do and that we confuse with doing it on Twitter, Discord or other spaces.
The idea is to widen the circle of contacts, not minimize it, much less close it. I'm not saying that we have a group of friends to feel good and share with. It is normal and healthy. Still, we could set as a goal to meet and get to know people, the more people the better. We don't know how much gold we can get in a post from a user from India or the motivational comment that a hiver from Nigeria can leave us. Did you know that there are whales and orcas that are not exactly Anglo-Saxon or Spanish-speaking? In Germany, Hungary, Blangadesh there are very good and powerful curators.
@fermionico said it these days in his video, about his nude: "Hive is a cosmopolitan platform, which allows us to travel without leaving home". Why limit ourselves then to a Discord server or a Telegram group patting each other on the back, flattering each other or telling jokes among acquaintances and panas, when we can meet and learn from so many people in so many parts of the world and make contacts, friends, alliances and we might even earn an automatic vote or a delegation from someone powerful who sees our commitment to Hive, not only by posting, but by commenting, adding value to the platform, supporting others with our vote and much more!
I am not a powerful project, I don't have friends who give me strong votes that take my posts to $100 or $150, but I feel privileged because I can count on people I have met on Hive who have supported me and who admire my work. My intention and plans are to generate initiatives that add value to this platform, educate and guide others in what I do best. I know that I will continue to gain followers and eventually I will begin to receive more and more support and continue to achieve important partnerships.
I want to make it clear, ONCE AGAIN, that I am not against other means of contact and promotion. I am is in disagreement with the excessive use given to those means. Telegram and Discord, or as I have called them, the TeleDisc duo, for example, serve to communicate, send documents, deal with issues in private that are not convenient to do so in public or for meetings with our work team, etc. They are also useful to promote our publications, to attend live healings that help us so much. But if we prioritize these places over Hive, then everything changes, because no, it is not the natural thing, I think, AND I EMPHASIZE IT, IT IS MY OPINION, the natural thing, is to be here and that TeleDisc (Telegram and Discord) allow us to complement what we start here.
What was the decision I made on this pair?
TeleDisc (Telegram and Discord) will be my newsletter, as my email, the place to spread my publications, make important announcements and of course, communicate privately with whoever is needed. Just that. Don't expect to see me chatting in groups or spending time on those sites. I will respect those who do and I don't expect you to imitate me, far from it. It's just a matter of method and style.
