Hail to the Hive!

It’s nice to be visiting my hometown again and having the time to have a wander round to see whats changed. I met up with an old friend for a few drinks but he suggested we take a walk around to some places that had been developed since I’d been gone.

As we wandered around a section of town that used to be quite run down but had been re imagined with a theatre and cafes, I spied these murals apparently looking at me.

I have to say they actually made me smile a big smile to see them. I love big street art like this as I’ve always felt it adds alot of character to an area. So to see them in my hometown, bringing the buildings to life really made me grin.

I may do a street art post later this week as there is quite a lot that I found but as I played around with my images I thought these two really popped in monochrome.
