Monomad Challenge – Pride Parade Part 1

Saturday, 2022-08-27

My entry this time is about Toronto's Pride Parade which took place on the weekend of 21-23 June 2019. If you are not familiar with Pride Parade, here's an excerpt from Wikipedia:

A pride parade (also known as pride march, pride event, or pride festival) is an outdoor event celebrating lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) social and self-acceptance, achievements, legal rights, and pride.

The 2019 Pride marks 50 years of the gay rights movement. Huge crowds converged on downtown Toronto on Friday - Sunday for Canada's largest Pride parade. We were lucky to be able to experience this unique festival. The crowds and the colorful atmosphere was just electrifying. Often times we see stark naked people walking leisurely carrying shopping bags buying groceries or foods from food stalls - what a view!

So here are some of the photos we took during the event.
