Almada, Setúbal, Portugal
We came to this town to visit family during our trip to Portugal.
The bright sun and and contrast of the dry hills is what I remember of driving through Almeida. Here are a few pictures to show that trip.
The town is across the river (Rio Tejo) from Lisbon but the appearance, the landscape already looks a bit different. One sees more green in Lisbon and further North, while, it seems, gray and brown is more prominent South of Lisbon. I have not been further South than Almada but Almeida definitely looks more like desert and dusty hills than Lisbon and far more so than Porto.
