Snowy attempt

Finally, winter has graced us with its most beautiful charms, a crumb of snow.

Either she ran out of it, or she has turned in an impressive miser in recent years, winter cozy and fluffy wardrobe patiently sits and waits for it's turn (new hand knitted piece made by mom should arrive soon too), if only knew how useless it would be.

Green fresh moss, green hues of spring, what a trick and a great contrast as it peeps out under the thin white layer. We looked for owls that are snoozing above on the branches.

Perhaps the most snow remained on the street is between the two blocks of terracotta, part of a sculptural clay/wood work, though I'm not sure what message it sends. Nevertheless that's not what I'm here for, another nicely popping texture, sprinkled with snowy crystals.

The wind smells like frost, it brings a pleasant freshness,

Of the textures, only trampled wet leaves remain, the only scene that looks desperate after the snowy surprise.

Minus something, says the temperature, and the duck doesn't mind. This is the first time she got close to us; usually often hangs out at the other side of the channel and keeps away from the shore.

A kind of mandarin duck, soft beige and apparently single.

Floating around freely giving a bit of an expression that course is lost or she finally figured us getting so close and got frightened

There was no snow in sight around, and it would have been a perfect one, the frozen kingdom of miss mandarin duck.
Wind started to blow harder, and it seems that thanks to the warm winters in the past years, we have spoiled ourselves quite a bit, we both unanimously agreed that it was time to go home.

We also hoped for frozen dandelions, but the frost was not as strong, like everything is obviously somewhere in between, neither warm enough nor fairly cold, neither winter nor light clothing, not for boots, not for sneakers.

Winter, will you finally decide?

@monochromes, this is my entry for the #monomad challenge, thank you all for your time and interest in what I do.
