Along the river bank, under the bridge

My lens is crying to be cleaned, figured that while removing countless little dark spots, was praying it's just screen dust but no!

Recently I am more 18-140mm oriented, even indoors - thankful for a good lightning last days. That's why I am on break today, scrolling over images I had chance to grab, it's rainy and terribly moody outside and I am yawning all day long.

Rather would slip under warm blanket and pretend I am cat.

I WAS D Y I N G TO SHOW THESE AROUND!
Sunday, March 3

Two shots which caught the eye one of my Instagram followers...

I would love to have these as prints in my living room!
You would?
Yes, all of them!
Would be my pleasure, leave me your email address and I'll forward them later today.
Really? You made my day!

..and that's how my photos are gonna be printed in purpose of decorating someone's living space - for the first time ever!

Old railway bridge, soon doomed to be removed. It connects the left and right banks of the river Sava since 1884 unfortunately since 2018 is no longer in use. Demolished so many times during wars, the steel structure still stands proudly and resists time, but not the human factor.

It's visible whenever you approach to the river, in shadow hidden behind newer ones, this bridge deserves it's place on this river as monument and history keeper.

These photos are made out of pure coincidence, just cause I was staring as dawning sun and sparkling water, silhouette crossing over spotted. Her quick steps and the blinding sun allowed me only two shots.

Where does seagulls gathers?
Under the bridge!

Flocks of white raptors float nonchalantly near the concrete pillars, occasionally basking on passing floating tree trunks. Past of adventurers are mostly hanging and observing from the top of bridge.

We can pretend this dude is sitting on the edge enjoying romantic sunset from above, dreaming about his love of life, big family with bunch of kids.
In reality he is attached to the corner of military headquarters, keeping watch day and night.

Tough life, he must be stoned up there.

From here, I couldn't see him anymore, neither the river nor bridge, only the traffic river floating both ways, already dawned sun and unfamiliar rushing faces.

This exact frame was long time desired, it offers short opportunities while the crosswalk is open for the waiting bunch of walkers, so find a way and grab it.

@monochromes, this is my entry for the #monomad challenge, thank you all for your time and interest in what I do
