Last Saturday, I had a complete dayoff for the first time in a while. I usually haave Skype classes on weekends, but my students requested to change their schedule, so I got a full dayoff. I decided to use this sudden free time to do some room cleaning. It felt so good being productive and seeing my room much cleaner than usual.
I originally planned to laze around in the afternoon... perhaps catch up on some anime series from last season. However, my best friend's wife texted my mom that she wanted to learn how to make the lemon and ginger tea we usually drink when we're sick.. and since I was free, we invited them over. It's been a while since we hungout at home and I miss my cute godson, Navee.
She came here with Navee, but my best friend was MIA. Actually, he's sick... and he's the reason why she wanted to learn how to prepare the lemon ginger tea. A couple days back, my best friend contacted me that he wasn't feeling well and he asked me some questions about the throat candy that I usually consume. This guy is a hard worker, so sometimes, he refuses to rest. xD
My best friend's wife and my godson arrived later that afternoon. We did some catching up while preparing the lemon ginger tea. My mom asked my dad to buy some ingredients beforehand since it's much easier to teach by showing her how... and she could send the tea to my best friend, soon. :)
My godson enjoyed staying on my loftbed. Good thing I was able to change the sheets and clean earlier that day. hahaha He's such an adventurous little guy.
We had early dinner together afterwards before they both headed home.
This is the lemon and ginger we prepared... this one is ours. haha We either add this to tea, or simply add some water to it. It's refreshing... especially if you add some honey. :)
My best friend is feeling much better now and is back to work again. haha Same with me, though... I don't know when I could have a full dayoff again. Anyway, I still find time to insert my hobbies... otherwise, I'd go crazy. lol
