Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! βΊοΈβ€οΈπ
There are instances that relationships don't work out with the person you once thought was the one. There are moments when you still think of the years you spent together, even though it has ended. Well, thatβs life. Lately, Iβve been cleaning my gallery and even deleting old photos we had before. Memories fade, just like some restaurants we used to visit. One of them, Doris Diner, a buffet restaurant with unlimited seafoods, has already closed down for more than two years I think. I donβt know the reason for its closure, but one thing is for sure, if it doesnβt work well, itβs better to close the chapter and move forward.
Here are some of the pictures of foods I had when we had our dinner date at Doris Diner:
Of course, I had a selfie with him too. Since I am decluttering, it will soon be deleted along with the other memories. Doris Diner was part of our food trip before, but looking back now, it feels like I was just a trip to my ex as well. Still, itβs a good thing that chapter is already over.
Life has its way of reminding us that not everything is meant to last forever. Just like a restaurant that closes down after years of serving people, some relationships also reach their end. Itβs painful, yes, but endings do not mean failure, they simply clear the way for better beginnings. Every closed door teaches us lessons that prepare our hearts for whatβs truly meant for us. π
Thatβs life, we need to move forward and build again.
Lord, thank You for the lessons that come with every ending and the blessings hidden in every new beginning. Heal our hearts from past hurts and guide us toward love that lasts, built with respect, kindness, and faith. May we always find gratitude in the little things and strength in Your presence. Amen. πππ
Though my past has its share of pain, I am grateful that life has given me another chance to love again. My new found love may not erase the scars of yesterday, but he brings hope, joy, and peace to my heart today. With him, I am learning that love is not about holding on to whatβs broken, itβs about embracing someone who chooses to stay, grow, and build a future with you. β€οΈπ
Have a Blessed Thursday everyone! ππππππ
