I decided to take a visit the place where the activities helded. As I arrived, I seen many Farmers displaying their products, some sorting their brought vegetables so that it can be easily seen by the buyers. After this, the left Vegetables and fruits will also brought by the buy and sell business people and transport to other places just like Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City.
Many people was there to choosed the vegetables they want to buy and they are very happy because they can buy in less prizes. The left vegetables, crops and fruits will be buy in the right prizes. Our Local farmers agreed with this conditions and according to them, it will help the residents very much. As I asked other farmers if they used synthetic fertilizer, they answered that they only used organic fertilizer. I was very amazed of the good output or result of using organic fertilizer. Truly, if we keep ourselves productive always, we can really gain a good result behind of our hard works and dedications. Their vegetables is very healthy and perfect for exporting with the use of organic fertilizer only.
Tree Planting Activities
After we finished taking some documentary about the Agri Business activity, we proceed to the tree planting activities on that same day. One of the Local Agency here do a campaign about planting more trees in some parts of the place that insufficient trees. For me, this will help so that the place will still relaxing and beautiful. It can also avoid the catastrophic situations just like soil erosions. That day, with the help of the residents, they started to get the best tree to be planted and put it in a plastic box and tray.
They choosed Native trees just like Tugas, this is one of the hardest tree here in the Philippines and it is also perfect for planting it in the mountainous areas. They loaded in the truck and started to transport to the site.
As we arrived in the place, this group of teens are willingly to volunteered to plant more trees. The name of their group is Clean And Green Squad. Sound a great name of the group. They hurriedly bring the trees to the mountain and they started to find any areas to be planted by the young trees.
First, they clean the area first were they planted the trees. This will help so that the young trees will grow fast. I was very amazed of this group of teen because at their young ages, they already know how to take care of the Nature and I really hope that this cannot be change. The Local Agency were also very thankful about their kindness deeds.
After that, they started to plant the young trees. Even it is very hot day, but still they are very enjoyed of what they doing and they according to them, they are happy and glad to help caring the Nature. It takes a few hours of planting almost 150 young trees in the place.
They also gathered more branches so that it can be used as a tree guard. Luckily for them because they have a member who knows how to make tree guard. This will help the young trees to keep away from animals just like cows and goats.
######For this group of teens, I really salut to all of you, just keep your good deeds by helping to preserve the beauty of Nature and if we keep ourselves productive always, we are very sure that we can gain a good results leading to greater success.
