Finally, I arrived in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. The last time I came here was in 2020. Great that there is no more covid 19 scares anymore. I guess, I have been on Hive since 2018. Before that it was steemit. Time flies.
Kota Kinabalu main city area
We were hungry. So we walked from our hotel. Slowly hunting for food.
Some shops no longer exist. This was one of them. Covid 19 shut down lots of business.
The great thing about Kota Kinabalu city area is that there are lots of connecting walkways for everyone to walk around.
A lot of Korean tourist travel here. Today, there is less. a couple of yeara ago, I saw lots and lots of tourist here. Sabah is still a hotbed for lots of tourist.
Little Italy
An Italian restaurant selling pizzas. I ate here the last time I was here.
You can walk down this pathway. As compared to the past, Kota Kinabalu is growing. More highways as compared to before.
Walking around here is generally safe. So, you can walk around here and not worry about safety.
Wisma Sabah
One of the oldest malls here. The design still intact. Windows are no longer like that these days.
My wife taking a photo
Walking around the city before driving up the mountains the next day. It was evening. After eating, there was one more mall to visit before calling it a day.
Finally, we found a restaurant. We were hungry.
Bah Kut Teh
This place is quite famous. However, that being said, I did feel that the soup needs more flavour. What did we order?
Bah Kut Teh
Soup. With meat inside. You can see from the colour that it needs more flavour. Usually, the bah kut teh is darker in colour.
Chicken feet
My wife loves this dish.
Got ourselves some rice and other variations of the Bah Kut Teh.
The food here is alrite but needs more improvement.
The man in charge of the bah kut teh.
I guess he has been doing this for a long time.
After that we went to one of Kota Kinabalu's most popular mall. Suria Sabah. This mall is quite popular.
Thank you very much for reading. Have a great day.
