Good Morning to all my wonderful friends. How has your week been? It is a Sunday again. Recently, I went to one of the best Sushi restaurants here in Miri. There are not a lot of sushi restaurants in Miri. This particular sushi restaurant is located in the town area and in one of the business districts known as Marina Times Square here in Miri.

This is called Sushi Zanmai

At this sushi, the prices are a bit on the higher side of things, but the food they serve here has a bit of quality control.

This restaurant has existed for at least a decade.

The menu

There are many types of sushi to choose from here at Sushi Zanmai.

Sashimi Rice

There are a lot of thin slices of Salmon Sashimi at the top, and beneath is Japanese Rice.

A great combo. I usually take my time to eat this bowl of rice, enjoying every single rice inside. It is not cheap, so why not enjoy it at the moment. There are some mango slices at the top of the sushi rice.

Seafood fried rice

My wife ordered the seafood fried rice. The ingredients include lots of different types of seafood bits like prawns as well as some mushrooms.

We also ordered some Ikura or Salmon Roe

The Ikura here is quite fresh.

Overall, this restaurant is slightly more pricey but the food here is more well prepared as more care is taken into making the dishes here and the overall ambience here is quite nice. Not too noisy and a great place to spend the night.

That was how I spent a night at Sushi Zanmai with my wife.
