Roti at Bintulu

Hello, my friends. How are you? It's midweek again. What better way to start off than to go for a nice breakfast at an Indian restaurant? I was in Bintulu a while ago and was craving Indian food. I went to eat at Abidi Indian restaurant, which serves authentic Indian food.

Roti Telur cheese

aka Roti with egg and cheese inside

This plate of Roti is cooked well. There are no burnt areas. The colour is even and the gravy is dhall. It's all beans. Great for our intestines. The cook is very good at making this. They knead the dough and press it hard, flip it around and it looks like it is flying.

The older part of the city

The lorry in front of the restaurant still has the vintage sign. There is a modern section of the city.

ABIDA CAFE

Lots of different foods to choose from, from their food warmers. This restaurant is clean. Very very clean.

Sarawakian and Malaysian flags are placed next to each other side by side.

There are lots of people eating here too.

The interior area of the restaurant.

This restaurant is located at Market street. A really convenient name for this area.

I also got myself the Dosai

This is my favorite at any Indian restaurant. I could eat five if I wanted to. That is how good the Dosai is. Fermented rice flour fried on a grill. Not sure if that is the correct way of explaining it.

This Dosai is slightly less crispy due to the cheese inside. I ordered with cheese inside. I love cheese. What makes this dish so good is the sauce. The gravy is awesome. Then the dhosai itself is slightly sour and crispy.

Have a great day.
