Another year of existence.
My aunt from Butuan City invited us to go to her 60th birthday party. And so we freed up our schedules, packed our bags, and went on the 2-hour journey to Butuan City.
My mother and sister got pretty hungry while on the road, so we wanted to stop at a snack place nearby, but Dunkin' Donuts and Angel's Burger in Bayugan City were all closed, so we just waited to arrive in Butuan to eat.
Our first stop was Robinson's Place at Butuan City. The malls here in Butuan are enormous compared to the ones we have in our place. We've already been here a bunch in the past, but they have tons of new additions when it comes to snacks.
Just as we entered the mall, I couldn't take my eyes off this. I immediately bought one of these delights called Merry Mango. They were delightful and tasty, especially with the cream and little bits of mango on the top and middle.
Meanwhile, my brother opted for french fries and a soda drink.
After we ate, we went to the department store to look for a polo that my brother would wear for the party. He doesn't have a polo that fits him because he has grown a lot during the lockdowns, so we went out to find one here. But unfortunately, there wasn't a polo that fits him perfectly.
Before going to other malls, we stopped by Citi Hardware in Butuan City to look for bathroom-related materials because we are currently renovating our bathroom to make it more spacious and look better.
After that, we then went to Gaisano to find a polo for my brother again. Compared to Robinson's, Gaisano has many more shirts and pants available. Most of them were on sale when we went there as well. It must have been at least two hours until we found a polo and pants that perfectly fitted my brother.
We were already exhausted at this point, so we went to my other aunt's place to eat and sleep at.
Their house was relatively big. They had three very spacious rooms, all of which were airconditioned and had their own bathrooms. After eating, talking, and watching a movie, we all got tired and slept.
The morning after, we prepared ourselves for the party, after eating breakfast and putting on our polos. We were on our way to my aunt's house.
When we got to the place, there wasn't anybody around. We were confused about what happened, then we found out that the venue was changed to her relatives' place because it was way bigger and had an ample parking space.
And I have to say, it really was a lot bigger. They had a two-story house with over six rooms, three bathrooms, a huge dining area, and a separate kitchen which you can see in the last picture beside the water tank.
There were lots of food at the party such as fried chicken, beef steak, cordon bleu, humba, lechon, pansit, plus all the desserts such as salad, tapioca, cakes, and ice cream.
We were all very full, and after two hours of talking with one another and catching up with all the issues. We went on yet another trip to the mall because my sister wanted to buy an earphone for her laptop.
We went to SM in Butuan City to look for the Oppo Store inside, but unfortunately, they did not have the original Oppo earphones, so we looked for them in other places.
We got sidetracked and went to Miniso because they had many adorable items available. I mean, just look at these very fluffy and cute stuffed toys. They also had a cat-themed bag and other bear-designed materials.
Unbeknownst to me, they also had tech-related stuff like keyboards, mice, earbuds, and lamps. My sister bought one of the We Bare Bears lamps and a stuffed toy.
My mother knows me very much and bought me a mango shake without even asking for it.
My sister really loves these flasks, and when she saw they were on a massive sale, she could not resist the urge to buy one. And it was very timely as well; I mean, look at these massive price cuts.
She took a long time to pick a color, so I went to Oxgn and Penshoppe, my favorite stores, to look for t-shirts. I really like their designs and how simple it is; I don't like shirts with a ton of writing.
On our way out, my sister wanted to buy one of these cakes, and while waiting, we saw this cute doggo wearing a diaper.
After two hours of traveling, we were back at our house and look at Angelo, who missed us so much.
Thank you for reading my post and going with me on this virtual journey!
