Β Β Β In Southeast Asia convenience is king, and almost every village/neighborhood has a small shop/kiosk of some kind. These shops often serve those without transportation and are also convenient when we only need a few items and don't to go to a market. I made this challenge with the winner of last week's challenge in mind, the one and only @shikika.
Β Β Β She has her own neighborhood store, much like what we have in Cambodian villages, but those of you in Singapore or more urban areas may have more modern and bigger neighborhood stores. Whether small or big, it's all about being locally owned and operated, and in most cases that means a mom & pop shop. Take us on a tour of your neighborhood store, show us the goods, the owner, tell some background/history of the place, anything interesting.

Β Β Β I knew we had some talented cooks in our community, but the Filipinos showed everyone how it's done in this challenge, taking taking 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prizes. Magic @Shikika's dish was irresistible, and I could almost smell the coconut as I scrolled and read. @cindee08 made an outstanding video, and the her dish looks very tempting too, well because anything with fried tofu has my attention. Last but not least was @sarimanok's variety of handheld delights that I think I could eat while driving, although probably not the safest idea.
