Creo que emprender puede nacer con las personas y también se puede aprender según las circunstancias de la vida que se nos presentan, en Venezuela creo que la mayoría de las personas se han vuelto emprendedores ya que las circunstancias del país así lo han exigido, en mi caso siempre me gustó crear y esto trajo como consecuencia un emprendimiento que surgió por si solo, aquí les cuento como fue.
I believe that entrepreneurship can be born with people and can also be learned according to the circumstances of life that are presented to us, in Venezuela I believe that most people have become entrepreneurs because the circumstances of the country have demanded it, in my case I always liked to create and this resulted in a venture that arose by itself, here I tell you how it was.
Como dije anteriormente siempre me gustó crear pero nunca había tenido el tiempo completo para ello porque trabajaba y el poco tiempo lo dedicaba a la casa, pero cuando nació mi hija dedique un tiempo para aprender a crear lazos y cintillos, además de perfeccionarme en creación de bisutería, esto lo hacía los sábados, comencé a crear para mi y mi hija, sin miras lucrativas pues solo era para nosotras.
Sin embargo mis familiares y amigos cercanos al ver lo que yo creaba comenzaron a encargarme accesorios, tanto de niñas como de adultas y allí comencé a vender mis creaciones, en ese momento decidí crear una marca llamada @gabyalecreaciones en instagram, vendía también por mercado libre el cual fue en su momento una de las mejores ventanas de venta en ese entonces, todo ello sin dejar mi trabajo era un ingreso extra, un emprendimiento que nació solo.
As I said before I always liked to create but I had never had the full time for it because I worked and the little time I spent at home, but when my daughter was born I dedicated some time to learn how to create bows and headbands, in addition to perfect myself in creating costume jewelry, this I did on Saturdays, I began to create for my daughter and me, without lucrative goals because it was only for us.
However my family and close friends seeing what I created began to order me accessories, both girls and adults and there I began to sell my creations, at that time I decided to create a brand called @gabyalecreaciones on instagram, also sold by free market which was at the time one of the best sales windows at that time, all this without leaving my job was an extra income, a venture that was born alone.
Para ese entonces mis hijos estaban pequeños y por mi trabajo yo siempre viajaba y los dejaba con su padre, mi hija lloraba mucho por mi ausencia, así que decidí dejar mi trabajo y dedicarme 100% a emprender igual ya tenía un camino hecho, así que así fue el comienzo de mi emprendimiento.
A partir de allí comencé a participar en varias exposiciones del país llevando todos mis accesorios, y me encantaba porque siempre disfrute el proceso y lo mejor era que creaba desde mi casa y mis hijos estaban conmigo, y cuando viajaba ellos podían venir.
Comencé a realizar muchos cursos y diplomados en cuanto a orfebrería algo que me encantó, conocí muchas personas maravillosas en el camino,, gente creativa y con un talento increíble en varias artes, sin duda yo quería aprender de todos ellos y puedo decir que aprendí de muchos por ello mi amor a las manualidades también, creo que pude hacer de todo en ese tiempo.
By that time my children were small and because of my work I was always traveling and left them with their father, my daughter cried a lot for my absence, so I decided to quit my job and dedicate myself 100% to entrepreneurship, I had already made a path, so that was the beginning of my entrepreneurship.
From there I began to participate in several exhibitions in the country taking all my accessories, and I loved it because I always enjoyed the process and the best thing was that I created from home and my children were with me, and when I traveled they could come.
I began to take many courses and diplomas in goldsmithing something that I loved, I met many wonderful people along the way, creative people with incredible talent in various arts, no doubt I wanted to learn from all of them and I can say that I learned from many because of that my love for crafts too, I think I could do everything at that time.
En aquel entonces mis ventas por internet aumentaron considerablemente, asiste a varios programas de televisoras regionales, además ya contaba también con vendedoras, les daba mercancía a consignación y ellas tenían un tiempo para cancelar, todo iba muy bien.
Fue allí cuando el país comenzó con la inflación y la hiper inflación, los costos fueron altos y ya las personas no podían pagar los costos por las prendes, ya que en ese momento creo que la mayoría tenia para comprar alimentos y no accesorios.
Así que poco a poco fui dejando de crear y dejar a un lado los accesorios, aunado a que tenía muchos problemas con la cervical al estar gran parte del día creando y con la cabeza baja.
Fue un momento difícil en ese entonces, de vez en cuando creo algunos accesorios, ahora más para Hive, algunas personas que me conocen aún me hacen encargos, y por supuesto cuando tengo que hacer regalos aprovecho de dar algo hecho a mano ya que eso tiene mucho valor, ya que va impregnado del alma de cada artesano.
At that time my internet sales increased considerably, I attended several regional television programs, and I also had saleswomen, I gave them merchandise on consignment and they had a time to cancel, everything was going very well.
It was then when the country began with inflation and hyper inflation, the costs were high and people could not pay the costs for the garments, since at that time I think most had to buy food and not accessories.
So little by little I stopped creating and put aside the accessories, plus I had a lot of problems with my neck as I spent most of the day creating and with my head down.
It was a difficult time at that time, from time to time I create some accessories, now more for Hive, some people who know me still make me orders, and of course when I have to make gifts I take the opportunity to give something handmade because that has a lot of value, as it is impregnated with the soul of each artisan.
Emprender para mi ha sido muy satisfactorio he tenido otros emprendimientos que pronto les contaré.
Para mi, el camino de emprender va cargado de ilusiones, desilusiones, de satisfacción y de aprendizaje, emprender no es fácil y menos en una economía como la de los Venezolanos, sin embargo creo que estamos hechos de hierro, de fortaleza y las ganas que se necesitan para no fracasar, así somos.

For me, the path of entrepreneurship is full of illusions, disappointments, satisfaction and learning, entrepreneurship is not easy and even less in an economy like that of Venezuelans, however I believe that we are made of iron, strength and the desire that is needed to not fail, that's how we are.
