Friends of the #HiveGarden community are sharing another post to answer the 13th weekly Garden Philosophy contest. Mine is easy, as long as I have the opportunity to harvest at home or on land I own. For example, we have several plants that are a staple food, such as yucca. Although it takes a long time (6 to 9 months), we also have a harvest free of insecticides and pesticides because it's completely natural, without any chemical additives.

Creating a green environment here at home will help us in many ways, such as spiritually, economically, and environmentally, but I will focus primarily on two: spiritually because sometimes we need that space where we can feel good and relax, perhaps even meditate. Growing plants economically allows us to save a little on some items that we can later use for other things. Or, simply start saving on more expensive items, such as these sweet pepper plants, which cost about $5 per kilo. Having them here is a good way to start looking for savings.

Personally, I don't see farming as a hobby, but rather an activity that can help us solve health problems, such as this Pasote plant, which is good for stomach problems and is a natural purgative for our body.

This concludes my post in response to the concerns raised by gardenhive@gardenhive, so I hope you enjoy it and continue working the land without damaging it to obtain the greatest possible benefit from it. However, you should allow a period of time to avoid overexploitation and so that it can be recovered for future harvests.
