Raid: Mobile Games

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

What's up, Hive Universe!

Are you up for some game talk? Long post ahead.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We most probably know that it's not impossible to see anyone who has had games installed on their mobile devices today. The technology in today's world is ever evolving and it's creating more developed, high-quality mobile games for everyone such as Multiplayer Online Battle Arena, Simulation, Arcade, Adventure, Role-playing games, etc. I'm sure you, who might be reading this, had at least your fair share of time playing these things. And if not, why not? I think you should play one when you can find the time!

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

As for me, it certainly wasn't too long ago when I was first exposed to online gaming as well. I had my very first smartphone when I reached my first year in junior high school. I was probably busy fangirling to KPOP at that time and killing my unlimited time playing these games inside a computer shop. As well as watching k-dramas on my dead Huawei mobile phone (I don't know where's it placed now).

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sure, I miss those days but nothing beats what games I had stored on my device for years now. Plus, I just recently had my time leveling up in such a famous action role-playing game that I think most of my internet people play these days. Do you happen to know Genshin Impact? Well, I've been waiting for quite some time.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here's a short last-week trip! After a while now, I withdrew my savings from my wallet to help purchase a new phone since my old one is almost barren now. I told my father about this matter and I intended to at least contribute something out of what I had saved the entire first two months of my Hive journey. Since the financial gain is hard to come by, that savings was a good help, if not for the full amount then maybe half of it. All in all, I've accumulated $118, if I haven't forgotten the exact amount, that's at least PHP7,000.

We purchased the new Realme 9 model.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

One thing is prioritizing my educational need in buying a new one but I don't study all the time as you might know it. So most probably, if I'm not writing, then, I'm playing games. And this blog is straying far from its title now. Nevertheless, I'm glad to be back after a long hell week of exams and student whatnots. Just tonight, I have come up with an idea to just show you several of what games I have in my old phone before I completely decimate them and pass them on to my keypad enthusiast mother.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Let's start enumerating them from the least to the most time I have spent playing them.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

• Geometry Dash Lite

The screenshot is from my device.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Since I can't afford the original Geometry Dash, this is what I have. I first played this game when I was in sixth grade on my classmate's iPhone. I don't remember what iPhone that was but it had a home button I miss seeing these days.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This Geometry Dash game is an arcade video game containing music on all platforms. I play this when I'm distracted and wanted to take my mind off things. Well, this version of RobTop is pretty easy and you can memorize every level by muscle if you've just been playing all the time. But as I said, this is only good for me to pass time so I can only finish the first 6 levels. And I don't wanna talk about the rest because they certainly don't take my time for leisure anymore.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If you haven't stumbled upon this game, Geometry Dash is a game about surpassing geometry obstacles along with fire soundtracks that'll take you to the next level. I think I had fun forgetting to retrieve the secret coins along the way. Since every level has 3 secret coins you need to retrieve if you forget it all the time, either you just want to arrive at the finish line or you're scared to run a single level all day. Well, I'm the latter in that case.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

By the way, they have several versions in Playstore. I have tried SubZero and Meltdown some years ago and they were extravagant on their own. If I just had the same excitement about Geometry Dash when I was a kid, then I most probably be playing those now.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

• Pou

The screenshot is from my device.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is the state of my pou before and after I tended her. I'm imagining cobwebs from her wallpaper the moment I opened the app again since it's been months since I last played with her. I don't consistently play Pou and just like the previous game, it's just there to save me when boredom strikes. Actually, I've never deleted this app ever since for the reason that I cannot do anything without the internet. This game made my days better when we were out of electricity for months last year.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I'm guessing you find this game ridiculous just like my younger brother. Every time a closest somehow learns I have this game on my phone they look at me with silly eyes. Of course, it's funny. Pou is, most of the time, what some toddlers play. I think everybody knows this virtual pet game on many mobile devices. It's cute and satisfying.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Well, some of its games are satisfying for me. I usually play the memory, match tap, and food drop game in Pou. I think those are what keep me entertained. The others are rather sipping my patience to empty because I don't know how to manage most of it.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

• Homescapes

The screenshot is from my device.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Now, this is one of my favorite pastime games. Playrix has many versions of these free puzzle games on Playstore and AppStore. I only played Homescapes because I am fond of games about building houses and whatnot. I haven't tried the others yet. I discovered this game from a close friend. I used to play from her gadget only that it was Gardenscapes before.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This game is about competing levels of puzzles to gain stars for your home upgrade! I'm level 992 on this one and I haven't played in a while. I can't catch up with any of their active events anymore since it's merely been stored in my phone for months. But, I still play it in between class breaks and free days.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here's a sneak-peak of the rooms I have unlocked from Homescapes.

The screenshot is from my device.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

From the upper left are the kitchen, entrance, and Austin's small space. He is my butler and the son of that big mansion I'm working on. Basically, I play puzzle for stars to fix their old age house. It's pretty exciting because there are many rooms I have yet to unlock. There's even a lake behind the mansion. I don't know if, in the future, it would involve some unlocking as well. But I hope there is.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is my garden. My favorite place. Maybe I can dream of having the same garden in real life as well in the far future.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

It's another living room but fancier and more welcoming than what you can see right down the staircase. Beside it is the newly unlocked party room which has been delayed for countless months now. I guess I refrained from playing consistently when I reached 12th grade.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The game still has the same nostalgic graphics I came by when I first installed it. Only with interesting events and prices, they put up now more than ever.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

• Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

The screenshot is from my device.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In my old device, I still had this online 5v5 MOBA game despite it almost dying. It somehow managed to let me finish at least a few games. Over the years, the details of this game improved so much. I can't believe I witness some of that.

The screenshot is from my device.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is what I play almost all of the time since I learned of it during 9th grade. I play together with my friends and ranked up to Legend III last season. It's been years of playing mobile legends still I'm afraid to play solo in ranked mode (that's why I can't reach mythic, to be honest). If I haven't forgotten, I abandoned this game for almost a year and returned to playing late in 10th grade. Most of my classmates play this game so... what else will I do to gain some friends? Play games with them, that's for sure. (◍•ᴗ•◍)

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My level is stuck at level 77 if I'm not mistaken. I'm not active in playing this game anymore but I still do whenever my friends invite me. I sometimes play with @cronus.arthfael, @amarysss, and @aeonian before. Back when we weren't so busy. I can play a few roles except being a jungler. No, thank you. I might as well just support my teammates rather than carry bigger roles in the game.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This is an action role-playing game with different game modes you can try as well as roles you can play to your advantage. See here for details. Most of my matches fall under Lesley, a marksman. Although I don't use her more often anymore, I hope I can surpass my game matches with her with Luo yi (Mage) soon.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Moonton creates many satisfying events one can participate. Most of what I remember are Transformers, Kung Fu Panda, The Exorcist, and others about a certain hero where you can get limited skins. They're pretty expensive if you don't know. Guess I'm blessed enough not to have to activate the will in me to spend money on online games. And because I'm just broke.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

• Genshin Impact

The screenshot is from my device.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Last but not the least, Genshin Impact. This game is known to anyone around my circle if I'd just ask. It's an action-based adventure game with characters that use elemental magic naming: Pyro (fire), Geo (earth), Dendro (nature), Cryo (ice), Electro (lightning), Anemo (wind), and Hydro (water). Take a look at this guide to know more about the Genshin lore. I think I just found my newest favorite. The graphics and storyline line piques my very interest since I'm a sucker for fantasyland. But never mind the storage space this game costs my device, I don't wanna think about it at the moment.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Anyway, I started playing this game just last week, before our online exam. The same day I had a new mobile phone. I'm leveling up my adventure rank by completing the commissions every day and the quests. I'm still at AR28 today and off to finish the other present quests. Luckily, I have one of my closest friends who helped me unlock my map while we were playing together the last time.

The screenshot is from my device.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

The one standing is my friend, currently AR55. She's proud of herself for being a Zhongli-haver (Geo) meanwhile I'm still trying to find my way in the game. That's my character sitting, Noelle (Geo). She's in the main party I deploy when I go for challenges inside domains. The other three are Benett (Pyro), Fischl (Electro), and Kaeya (Cryo). I have yet to decide which main I shall use but I'm going with Noelle in the meantime.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here are a bunch of screenshots from Genshin Impact that is self-explanatory.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

This is the conclusion of my blog and maybe, later on, I'm gonna reformat my old device so my mother can have it. I've transferred all my data from the new phone so no problem, I guess. You're still here? Wow! Thanks for reading to the end.
