Jeeeeez! It's been so long since my last gaming article!
Does anyone stopping by this post actually remember about the times when I was reviewing games on here? It's been more than a year since I stopped. I used to write about a lot more passions of mine other than travel blogs and occasionally photography ones. Until I faced my first burnout, which wasn't fun at all!
Anyway, I'm not here to complain, nor to boast, but to say that starting today I'll begin sharing my walkthroughs with you, especially since I spend a lot of time gaming when I get free time.
I was actually about to give up on this passion especially since my computer is very old and has weak specs, but since my boyfriend changed his computer, now we both play games on his and record our progress that we share on our YouTube Channel entitled Doi Lupi which can be translated as "Two Wolves".
The name is in Romanian as we don't exclude the chance of starting to live stream in one or two years when I'll possibly change my PC too, but the name doesn't matter as the videos we'll post have no commentary since we are still tasting waves. Depending on how things will evolve, we might change a few things to both our channel and the way we share our gaming experience.
Until then, above you can see the first Chapter of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora which I began playing during the Christmas holidays and completed last weekend. My boyfriend received the game as a gift when purchasing a new GPU and since he's not that much into story based games, he let me play it and record all the footage while doing so.
I don't know about you but while the Avatar movies got me a lot of mixed feelings, I fell in love with this series a lot more after playing the game which comes with new things that perhaps will only be fully presented in the following movies. But still, everything from graphics to story, music, and all the details are incredible.
Even though Awakening is marked as the first Chapter of Avatar, this one represents the prologue and intro of the game, such as there is not much to do other than watching the cinematics, customizing your character, and making it out of TAP.
This actually begins with a short course of who you are and that you've been saved by RDA along with a few other Na'Vi children but you are just one of the very few survivors of the Sarentu tribe that comes with at least a mindf*ck story.
Just like any other game, there are both good and bad people to chase and the one leading all the bad things happening in Pandora is John Mercer whom perhaps most of you remember from the movies.
Even from the beginning, he doesn't like the natives and when you, along with some other children intend to escape, he stops the group and commits a first bad thing that will change the course of the game in a blink.
Right after this part of the intro, there comes the character customization part which is one of my favorites in all games, lol. I did spend a while here choosing how my avatar should look like but don't worry if you don't make the right choices, you will still be able to adjust your character in-game.
Even though the game begins with avatars as children, there is shown a new perspective after a few years when they reawakened and form the Resistance which is a band composed of both humans and avatars who have the same mission, namely, to fight off the RDA.
While you get informed that the RDA is gone and begin learning some commands, how to feed and how to fight, the RDA returns and makes you run all around the building until you escape and make it to your world that has to be protected from the bad guys which have already captured some parts of it polluting it regularly with their activities at their bases.
There's going to be quite an intense beginning of the game with both sneaking and running, defending and healing your wounds with very few resources, and a lack of equipment or ammunition which makes the adrenaline level increase even more.
Though, as I hate spoilers and no words are ever able to show the actual experience, the video posted is what I call a full experience with all the settings on Ultra which is what you need to admire all the beauty of Pandora.
But we will discover more of that world in the upcoming video!
