RE: [En/Es] Doom: the best/ play, run and die 😈👺

As a standalone game, I thought Doom was just OK. However, two things made it outstanding.

First was deathmatch. As long as you and your friend had a modem, you could slug it out against each other with or without all the other enemies. You could even play with up to four players.

Second, Doom was highly customizable (on the PC at least). There were endless fan made levels, some of which were quite good. You could even customize graphics and sound so that you had an entirely different themed game altogether. Some of the Star Wars mods were my favorites.
