Crypto Shots
An unbelievably smooth FPS (First Person Shooter) PVE (Player Versus Environment) P2E (Play 2 Earn) on HIVE, WAXP, & ETH Crypto Shots is truly special blockchain game.
Kicking myself because this projects been around for months & I'm finally getting around to testing Crypto Shots.
For starters the graphic fatality isn't bad for a browser based title (PC), a 3d FPS with the ability to have a controller auto detected by the game. Just that statement is rare in Blockchain games, but Crypto Shots goes so much further.
Feeling almost like an unreal tournament, a mid era doom title, marathon, counterstrike, or quake from like Gen 7 consoles (XBOX360, PS3).
All this with a smooth game interface + Crypto Shots is also monetized with its assets tied into WAX, HIVE, & ETH.

The Blockchain aspects alone are actually quite impressive in their own right, portal systems for NFTs are not simplistic, & the players account has access to all NFTs in game from paired wallets, so if you have NFTs on any of your wallets HIVE, ETH, or WAX you can use them in game.
Now enough geek speak (fun part) lets take a look at the Game play itself.
2 Game types both of which are PVE, the higher difficulty you choose the higher rewards for each kill.
Not great with multi tasking so I'm writing this & getting screen grabs while playing sorry for the hit or miss quality.
The game has on the Kill them all game type an Oxygen Meter which acts as a timer however you can pay to top it up if it runs out.
Now lets go over the games crypto BOOM, MARS, & PROX
You earn BOOM playing level 0 (base matches)
Assume you where to cash out BOOM to HIVE for instance, BOOM has to be swapped for DOOM the HIVE token.
I cant find MARS on HIVE so I'm assuming it needs to be implemented, that or just my error in understanding the system.
When the only way I can find errors, is when I go looking for them, the projects damn solid, to put that in perspective, Ubisoft made NFTs for Ghost recon which appeared to be a train wreck from the start.
Crypto Shots represents a solid integration of blockchain & NFTs into a game which by my verdict makes their developers, much more competent then Ubisoft which is a AAA Game company.
I make it my prerogative to draw as much attention I can in my off time to projects like Crypto Shots that display commendable talent.

Hashkings XP !QUEENS & !KINGS
Hashkings has been getting their projects marketing on point recently, with introductions of a few new mechanics like a refined XP system & HIVE !BOT commands.
Much like post curation offered by @hk-curation the BOT commands !KING & !QUEEN serve as advertising for the title, also serving as a reward for their supporters.
Due to the way the Hashkings !BOT commands are triggered XP of the players avatar is becoming increasingly important.
This is why the joint crafting system is out, & the XP store is in.
Say you get EXP or BUDS & want to Level up your avatar, what do you do?
In game you click the crafting menu Icon shown highlighted below
This may change but at time of writing you get to the XP store via the crafting icon.
EXP & XP are a 1 to 1, I believe based on testing the system.
EXP can be earned by having someone trigger the !KING or !QUEEN bot command on your HIVE content (more details later).
Once you use the XP store IE paid for XP you will be sent one of these NFTs with the XP balance purchased specified, & this NFT can be found in your inventory.
Consume this NFT (burn it in game) & your equipped avatar NFT will gain the specified amount of XP.
Now Hash Queens & Kings can issue bot commands via HIVE comments using the commands...
!QUEEN
or
!KING
You have to have the following for this !BOT command to work.
Your equipped avatar has to have the following XP levels for aforementioned bot commands.
There is more then one way to trigger !QUEEN / !KING bot however.
By staking Hashkings BUDS the player gets another Hashkings crypto BUDSX, the amount of BUDSX is the BUDS staked.
Fun fact BUDSX or Staked BUDS uses a coin design created by me @chubb149

Prizes given by the bots have a 20% chance of occurring, everyone triggers one of the prizes outlined above.
Speaking of games going hard in the paint on updates, Hash Kings dropped the cost of the avatar combination via Merge game mechanic.

Splinterlands / Splinterforge
NFTs getting used in 2 separate videogames?
Yes indeed Splinterlands NFTs being used in Splinterforge is how it happens.
For those unaware Splinterlands a HIVE P2E has assets particularly card NFTs that get used in Splinterforge another HIVE P2E.
The objective in Splinterforge is much akin to a Splinterlands Boss Run the game community participates in collectively.
Those that played before February 15th Splinterforge was in alpha now the rewards are real and live, traditionally alpha builds are still unmonetized as the game is still in the testing phase.
Having participated in many, Blockchain Game Alpha Build tests I can attest to the regularity of such a concept.
Splinterforge using Splinterlands NFTs I hope is the beginning of such tie in projects on HIVE, tie in projects like this are a rather prevalent trend on WAX NFT collections.

The wise crack video above goes over ChatGPT a Machine learning AI designed for content creation, in the video they have ChatGPT write a few scripts.
The results while ultimately missing nuance, is still serviceable, not to mention the AI shows ethical integrity.
From AI generating art like Dall-e or scripts / write ups via ChatGPT, these are creative endeavors only made possible via bulk data colection.
While humbling to know AI is close to catching up to my GIF stat
Ethical implications of this level of computational power need to be a discussion sooner rather then latter.
