Online und dezentral: Ich spiele Karten
Spielst Du auch schon Splinterlands? Das hat schon was von den alten Magic the Gathering Tagen in den 90ern, von denen ich allerdings nur Geschichten höre. Denn diese gingen an mir vorbei, als ich noch in Bullitin Board Systems (BBS) meine Zeit verbrachte. Damals gab es kein Internet. Wir Geeks wählten uns per Telefon mit Akustikkoppler oder Modem dort ein. Du erinnerst Dich? Deine Eltern vielleicht?
Auch schon lange her ist es, dass mein Account in den Splinterlands Raufereien dabei war. Ich hatte ihn damals @annijada zum Spielen überlassen. Dank @anjanida ist ziemlich viel davon dokumentiert. Die erste Rauferei für @anli war die insgesamt siebte im April 2021. Ich gab dem damals nicht viel Bedeutung. Im August 2021 kamen dann die Gladiator-Karten hinzu. Das muss so etwa um die 31. Rauferei herum gewesen sein. Bis dahin wurde mit meinem Account gerade mal an zwei Raufereien teilgenommen. Erst im September 2021 war es dann die dritte Rauferei für @anli, welche insgesamt die 35 Rauferei gewesen sein müsste, und die Resultate waren nicht bemerkenswert, sind jedoch dokumentiert.
Als @annijada im November 2021 mit eigenem Account startete, hatte mein Account gerade mal fünf mal teilgenommen. Aus dieser Zeit sind auch die ersten Gladiator-Karten, die noch in meinem Account vorhanden sind. Denn die sind nicht übertragbar (soulbound). Alle anderen Karten hatte ich damals an @annijada weitergegeben.
Nun lud mich @anjanida ein, mit meinem Account die Gilde zu unterstützen. Er füllt schon einige Zeit mit dem Account von @annijada den Fray, in dem nur ein Teil von Karten spielbar ist. Während des derzeitigen Rückgangs von Mitspielern wurde sichtbar, wie in einem anderen Fray genau die Karten spielbar sind, die mit @annijada nicht im eigenen Fray spielen kann. Und so kam es, mich einzuladen, gelegentlich mit diesen Karten zu spielen und diese Lücke zu schließen.
Meine Teams habe ich inzwischen eingesendet. Ergebnisse gibt es bisher jedoch nur für zwei von acht, und die habe ich verloren.
Im Liga-Spiel konnte ich bisher auch nichts erreichen, und das wird vermutlich auch so bleiben. Das Spiel in der Gilde erfordert mir bereits genug Zeitaufwand. Da inwestiere ich lieber noch ein zwei Stunden hier ins Bloggen. Die Idee, damit bei der Social Media Challenge teilzunehmen, ist mehr als verlockend. Du machst so viel Sachen vor, die sich leicht abgucken lassen. Vielen Dank für die Anregungen dazu!!
Zu einem meiner beiden einzigen Erfolge bisher zählt einer gegen @indubilyethan im Liga-Format "modern". Dieses Format passt perfekt zu dem Fray, den ich fülle.

Online and decentralized: me playing cards
Are you already playing Splinterlands? It has something of the old Magic the Gathering days in the 90s, which I only hear stories about. Because those passed me by when I was still spending time in Bullitin Board Systems (BBS). There was no internet back then. We geeks dialed in there by phone with acoustic coupler or modem. You remember that? Your parents, maybe?
It was also a long time ago that my account was in the Splinterlands brawls. I had given it to @annijada to play with back then. Thanks to @anjanida, quite a bit of it is documented. The first brawl for @anli was the seventh overall in April 2021. I didn't give it much importance at the time. Then in August 2021, the gladiator cards were added. That must have been around the 31st brawl. Up until then, my account had only participated in two brawls. Only in September 2021 it was then the third brawl for @anli, which must have been the 35 brawl in total, and the results were not remarkable, but are documented.
When @annijada started with her own account in November 2021, my account had only participated five times. From this time are also the first Gladiator cards that are still present in my account. Because they are not transferable (soulbound). All other cards I had then I transferred to @annijada.
Now @anjanida invited me to support the guild with my account. He has been filling the Fray that has only a portion of cards playable with @annijada's account for some time now. During the current shortage of players it became visible how in another fray exactly those cards are playable that @annijada can't play in its own fray. And so it came to invite me to occasionally play with those cards and fill that gap.
I have sent in my teams in the meantime. However, there are results for only two of eight so far, and I lost those.
I haven't been able to accomplish anything in league play either, and that's probably how it will stay. Playing in the guild already takes up enough of my time. I'd rather spend another one or two hours blogging here. The idea of participating in the Social Media Challenge is more than tempting. You present so much stuff that is easy to copy. Thanks for the suggestions on this!!
One of my only two successes so far includes one against @indubilyethan in "modern" league format. This format fits perfectly with the Fray I fill.
