¡Y me encanta!

Since I was 15, I've played numerous otome games, but if I had to pick one that I love for its time management and characters, it would be the Tokimeki Memorial Girl's Side series.
In short, Tokimeki Memorial is a dating simulator where you live your dream high school life. While controlling the protagonist, you must decide how to spend your time, which isn't endless. You can spend the entire school year studying for exams and attending extra classes, or you can get distracted by going out with friends and boys. The key is that with each action you take, you increase your stats. Each boy requires you to have a specific stat value to confess to you at graduation (the school prince being the most difficult to win over). You also have to increase his love points by asking him out and giving him gifts on specific dates throughout the three school years. But if you're not interested in romance, that's still possible because there are female friends you can spend time with. You can have up to four female friends in games 1 and 2, and two in games 3 and 4. But what I love most are the clubs and part-time jobs available, where you unlock events and skills that will help you have more job options after graduation. The game also has many other features that make it very entertaining to play, to the point that I got hooked on the first two games in the series for girls and got all the endings.
However, I had never been able to play the latest game in the series because, among other things, it was only available in Japanese. In fact, I started learning Japanese just to play it someday, but it was a waste. The English patch is now out, courtesy of the fans.
And I love it! It has so many extra features! What surprised me is that this time it wasn't the protagonist who returned to the city after several years, but her childhood friend. I also didn't expect them to let us into the school cafeteria this time to talk to our friends.
Speaking of friends, this time our friends are the Hanatsubaki twins. We've already encountered several members of the family in other games (Goro, Himeko, and Karen), and every time they appear, they definitely make me wonder what on earth that family is hiding. I still don't understand Himeko's ending in Tokimeki 2. If someone could explain it to me, I'd appreciate it.
Of course, as soon as I got the game, I started playing it. And which boy did I focus on it? Ryota, my childhood friend and the school's prince. And to my surprise, he turned out to be quite easy, so to speak, much simpler than Hazuki Kei, the first prince. But that boy is a sweetheart, a little depressing, but he's an angel.
I'm really glad Konami decided to release another game like this, and I hope that if they release another one, they'll add English.
