RE: Not always nice and dandy - Let’s talk allergies

What you're describing sound either like very severe allergies or something else involving your immune system, potentially. There are tests available which could assess for those types of conditions, and the allergist/immunologist would likely be the one to send those tests, assuming they they suspect such conditions.

I have read that the prevalence of allergies / allergic rhinitis has been increasing tremendously over the past few decades. It's not easy to deal with on a daily basis.

I've actually had them for nearly 30 years, since I was a small child. I've been taking antihistamines on a daily basis for as long as I remember, and during allergy seasons, even those don't suffice.

The best approach is, indeed, to find out what's creating such reactions and to remove it from your environment. It's also sometimes the most challenging aspect of managing allergies! Is there a chance that since this first began that you made some type of change in soaps, laundry detergents, clothing, or bedsheets that you're using? Sometimes those factors can be triggers also, and we may not even realize it.

Anyway, best of luck with this. I understand exactly how irritating and interfering this can become in daily life.
