Size bir süredir hayatımda arkadaşlık seviyesinde çok yüksek yerlere yerleşmiş birinden ve onunla dün uzak mesafeler katederek İstanbul'a geldiğinde neler yaptığımızdan bahsetmek istiyorum.
Sanırım beni uzun bir süredir görmediğiniz içindir de ki hatırlamıyor olabilirsiniz de garip gelecektir. Açıkçası kendimin ve (tabii ki de onun da izni ile) arkadaşımın fotoğrafını burada paylaşıyor olmak garip geliyor ama dünkü minik maceramızda sadece fotoğraf çekinebilmek için gittiğimiz kafede çekindiğimiz fotoğrafları koymasam olmaz.
Hikâyenin en başına sarmak yerine nasıl yakınlaştığımızı minik bir özet ile anlatsam daha iyi olur sanırım çünkü zaten bu postu onunla olan ilişkimizin düzeyi üzerine ve gezdiğimiz yerler üzerine yazdığım için yerinde olacaktır diye düşünüyorum.
Çok da uzun olmayan bir zaman önce ben tatlı sayılabilecek kişiliğe sahip birisi ile birlikteyken kendisi bizi tanıştırdı. Kendimi gerçekten önüne yavru köpek konulmuş gibi hissettim.
Kardeşimden de küçük olan bu yavru köpek tatlılığındaki insan benim en karanlık saatlerimde diyebileceğim zamanlarımda hep yanımdaydı ve bende her zaman elini boşluğa uzattığında benim elimi tutması için elimden geleni yaptım.
Kısacası farklı annelerden olan küçük bir kız kardeşim var bir süredir ve ben bundan çok memnunum. Uzun sayılamayacak ama kısa da olmayan bir süredir tanışıyoruz. Bir de üstüne üstlük 10 saatlik otobüs yolculuğundan sonra İstanbul'a geldiğinde buluşmak ve birlikte zaman geçirmek için bana harika bir zaman dilimi ayırdı.

Kadıköy'ü talan ettik!
Pazartesi olduğu için müzelere gidemedik fakat onu elimden geldiğince istediği yerlere götürmeye çalıştım ve işe bir süredir istediği ama bulunduğu şehirde olmayan bir restorana götürdüm.
Sopung Kore Restoranı Kadıköy şubesi
İstanbul'un ilçesi olan meşhur Kadıköy'ü birçoğumuz duymuşuzdur diye düşünüyorum. Şahsen büyük beden için olsun, araç gereç için olsun alışveriş için tercih ettiğim bir ilçe. Tabii ne yazık ki uzak.
Benim bulunduğum yerden sol üst köşede görebileceğiniz gibi 3 saate yakın sürüyor. Fakat yine solda önerilen ulaşım yollarını tercih etmektense metrobüsü tercih ediyorum. Metrobüsün herhangi bir durağından bindikten sonra "Söğütlüçeşme" durağında inmek yeterli. Tabii bu durakta indikten sonra yaklaşık 15 dakikalık bir yürüme yolu bulunuyor. Hemen hemen 1 kilometre kadar. Bence bu kadar kısa bir yürüyüş için vasıta değiştirmeye gerek yok.

İstanbul'da sayısını hatırlayamadığım kadar şubesi bulunuyor. Ama hak verirsiniz ki aşçılar farklı olduğu için lezzeti de farklı oluyor. Ve bence en güzel ve otantik yemekleri bu şubede yiyebilirsiniz.
Peki biz ne söyledik?
Benim tatlı mı tatlı arkadaşım acı yiyemediği için seçeneklerimiz biraz sınırlıydı ama bu zor görevi de alnımın akıyla atlattığımı düşünüyorum. Jajangmyeon, Kore mutfağında acısız olan az yemeklerden birisidir. Tabii ki acı istemediğinizi söylerseniz buna göre belki de başka restoranlarda çıkarabilirler fakat bu şube sürekli kalabalık olduğu için artık isteklere bakamıyorlar.
Bu bence büyük bir eksi çünkü hiç acı yiyemeyen bir müşteriyi kaybetmek demek.
Ben acıyı çok sevdiğim için derecesi 3 olan "Kaşarlı Rabokki" söyledik. Tabii benim minik dostum bir ya da iki tane tteok yani en kaba tabirle pirinç keki olarak adlandırabileceğimiz içeriğinden alıp tadına baktı ama onun da acısına zor dayandı. İçerisinde biraz kimçi, noodle ve tteok bulunuyor.
Ve masadaki diğer acılı olan bir şey kimçi. Bu biraz bizim lahana turşumuzu andırıyor fakat çok daha fazla baharatlı. Bilen kişilerin tabiri caiz ise beni linçleyeceklerini biliyorum fakat sanırım kültürümüzde en yakın tabir bu oluyor. Eğer başka varsa lütfen söyleyin. Öğrenmek ve bu bir hata ise tekrarlamamak isterim.
Jajangmyeon ise tam anlamıyla siyah fasulye soslu noodle. Tabii içerisinde salatalık, havuç gibi kavrulmuş sebzeler de bulunuyor. Ve minik arkadaşımın favorisi jajangmyeon oldu. Hatta diğer uzak doğu yemeklerini de işin içine katarak en beğendiğinin bu olduğunu söyledi.
Tabii bir de gimbap var. Bütün Uzak Doğu mutfağında en beğendiğim yemek olur kendileri. İçerisinde danmuji (turp turşusu), sosis, pilav, salatalık ve yosun bulunuyor. İsteyene de içerisinde ton balığı ya da dana eti de ekleyebiliyorlar.
Şahsen ben bu yediklerimizden gayet memnun kaldım. Hatta çok fazla yediğimi hissettiğim için bir noktadan sonra bıraktım.
Mekânda eskiden olmayan bir fotoğraf çekme köşesi yapmışlar. Hatta ve hatta hanbok yani Kore geleneksel kıyafetini ücretsiz bir şekilde giyerek fotoğraf çekebiliyorsunuz.
Ben giymedim ama prensesin fotoğrafını çektim.
Hatta şu zamana kadar başkasının benimle çekindiği en beğendiğim fotoğraflardan birkaçını da çekindik.
Evet kabul ediyorum, eyeliner'ımı olmayan vicdanıma kadar çekiyorum 😈 😂
Burada hesap bence İstanbul gibi özellikle de Kadıköy gibi bir ilçede yediğiniz bir yere göre gayet uygundu. Kişi başı yaklaşık 270₺.
Buradan çıktıktan sonra ise kendisiyle çok daha önceden görüp ayıcıklarından dolayı beğendiğini düşündüğüm ve fotoğraf çekinmek için gittiğimiz bir kafe var.
Choco Port Kadıköy
Bu kafenin menüsü çok geniş değil. Zaten kafenin konsepti direkt fotoğraf çekinmek için. Yani belli noktalar için buna para ödemeniz gerekiyor. Aslında o kadar da fazla değil. Fotoğraf köşesi için 39₺ yeterli. Açıkçası çok klişe bir şekilde melek kanatları olduğu için ne ben ne de misafirim bunu istemedik.
Aslında ben direkt kafede fotoğraf çekinmek istemedim. 😁... Buna şaşıracaklar olur belki de olmaz fakat gerçekten tarzım değil. Hem de uzaktan yakından alakalı değil. Ama bundan önce menü hakkında bilgi versem daha iyi olacak.
Menüsü beklediğimden daha az şey içeriyor. Belki de az ama öz bir yolda ilerlemek istemişlerdir. Menüye ise ekstra bir internet sitesi yerine kendi sayfalarından ulaşabilirsiniz.
Biz adını tam hatırlayamadığım bir suşi krep yedik. Açıkçası yemesi çok zordu. Üzerindeki kremşanti her şeyi zorlaşırdı. Ve sakar olan ben üzerime çikolata damlattım...
Tabii bir de bu kafenin işletmecileri Azeri! O kadar şaşırdım ki. Tabii ben direkt konuşmaya giriştim. Nasıl da unutmuşum, paslanmışım konuşmayarak. Neyse ki düşündüğüm kadar kötü değildim. Yiyecekleri ve tarzı bana hitap etmese de sahiplerinin tatlılığı yeter. 😂
Kafenin iç dizaynı düşündüğümden çok daha pembeydi. Her yer pembeydi! Tek bir yer dışında; tavan.
Aslında kafenin en sevdiğim kısmı tavanı oldu.
Burası da mutfağı. Gerçekten küçük ama tatlı.
Tabii sıra sonuncu fotoğraf çekim alanına geldi. Kapakta bulunan huysuz fotoğrafımın çekildiği yer ve inanın o fotoğraf için tehdit edildim! Saçlarım tehlikedeydi. Saçlarımı kurtarmak için yapmam gereken her şeyi yaptım. Pişman değilim.
Minik prenses benim yüz ifadelerimden oldukça eğlenmiş gibi görünüyordu... 😒
Hatta burada da ona bu kadar eğlendiği için isyan ediyordum.
Görebildiğiniz gibi köşe tamamen pembe ayıcıklardan oluşuyor ve yine pembeye bulanmış detaylar var.
Burası için herhangi bir ücret ödemedik kendi hesabımız dışında fakat kafenin sitesine bakacak olursanız eğer rezervasyon yapabileceğinizi görebilirsiniz. Ve eğer orada zaten birileri oturuyorsa ne yazık ki burada herhangi bir şey yapma şansınız kalmıyor. Burada da hesabımızı ikiye böldük ve kişi başı 170₺ ödedik.
Buradan da çıktıktan sonra henüz yeni bir şeyler içmiş olmamıza rağmen kendimize içecek almak istedik. Ve sokak satıcıları imdadımıza yetişti.
Yaban mersinli ve çilekli slushie'yi orta boyu 30₺ olarak toplamda 60₺'ye iki tane kaptık. Ben tadını çok sevemedim ama harika bir beyin donması yaşadım. Beyin donmalarını severim. 🤣
Sonrasında ise bir sürü mağaza gezdik. Takıcısından tutun kıyafetine kadar meşhur boğa heykelinden çok uzaklaşmadan neredeyse her yeri gezdik.
Burada da tam olarak "Tam bir prensesim" diyordum. 👑 😂 Ona gönlümden geçerek 2 takı aldım çünkü gözüne takılmışlardı.
Ve gezimiz bu kadar sürdü. Sonrasında da ayrıldık ve benim 3 saat süren geri dönüş yolculuğum başladı. Umarım onunla kısa zamanda tekrar buluşabiliriz.

I would like to tell you about someone who has been in a great friendship level in my life for a while and what we did when she came to Istanbul yesterday by travelling long distances.
I guess it will seem strange because you haven't seen me for a long time and you may not remember me. Honestly, it feels strange to be sharing a photo of myself and my friend (with her permission of course) here, but I can't not put the photos we took in the cafe we went to yesterday just to take a photo in our little adventure.
Instead of rewinding to the beginning of the story, I think it would be better if I tell a little summary of how we got closer, because I think it would be appropriate because I already wrote this post on the level of our relationship with her and the places we travelled.
Not so long ago, when I was with someone with a personality that could be considered sweet, he introduced us. I really felt like a puppy was put in front of me.
This sweet puppy human, who is even younger than my little brother, was always with me in what I can call my darkest hours, and I always did my best to hold her hand when she stretched her hand into the void.
In short, I have a little sister from different mothers for a while and I am very happy about it. We have known each other for a time that cannot be considered long but not short either. On top of that, when she came to Istanbul after a 10-hour bus journey, she spared me a wonderful period of time to meet and spend time together.
And let's come to what we did;
We walked all over Kadikoy!
Since it was Monday, we could not go to the museums, but I tried to take her to the places she wanted as much as I could, and I took her to a restaurant that she had wanted for a while but was not in her city.
Sopung Korean Restaurant Kadıköy branch
I think many of us (Mostly people from Turkey) have heard of the famous Kadıköy, which is the district of Istanbul. Personally, it is a district that I prefer for shopping, whether for large sizes or for tools. Of course, unfortunately it is far away.
As you can see in the upper left corner from where I am, it takes about 3 hours. But again, I prefer the metrobus rather than using the transport routes suggested on the left. After getting on from any stop of the metrobus, it is enough to get off at the "Söğütlüçeşme" stop. Of course, after getting off at this stop, there is about a 15 minute walk. It is almost 1 kilometer. I think there is no need to change vehicles for such a short walk.
Now for the menu... What did we order and where can you find the menu?
The menu is on the internet and you can decide what to eat before you go. I am putting the menu here.
There are more branches in Istanbul than I can remember. But you would agree that since the cooks are different, the flavours are also different. And I think you can eat the most beautiful and authentic dishes in this branch.
So what did we order?
Since my lovely, dear friend couldn't eat chilli, our options were a bit limited, but I think I overcame this difficult task. Jajangmyeon is one of the few dishes in Korean cuisine without chilli. Of course, if you tell them that you don't want spicy, they may be able to make it in other restaurants, but since this branch is always crowded, they can't look at the requests anymore.
I think this is a big disadvantage because it means losing a customer who can't eat chilli at all.
We ordered "Cheese Rabokki", which was rated 3 because I like spicy food so much. Of course, my little friend took one or two tteok, which we can call rice cakes in the crudest terms, and tasted it, but she could hardly stand the spicy taste. It contains some kimchi, noodles and tteok.
And the other spicy thing on the table is kimchi. This is a bit like Turkish style pickled cabbage, but much more spicy. I know that people who know will try to put me in a fight, so to speak, but I think this is the closest expression in Turkish culture. If there is another one, please tell me. I would like to learn and not repeat if this is a mistake.
Jajangmyeon is literally noodles with black bean sauce. Of course, it also contains roasted vegetables such as cucumber and carrot. And my little friend's favourite dish was jajangmyeon. She even included other Far Eastern dishes and said that this was her favourite.
Of course, there's also gimbap. It is my favourite dish in the whole Far East cuisine. It contains danmuji (pickled radish), sausage, rice, cucumber and seaweed. If you want, they can add tuna or beef in it.
Personally, I was very satisfied with what we ate. I even stopped after a point because I felt that I had eaten too much.
They have made a photo corner in the place that was not there before. You can even take a photo wearing hanbok, a Korean traditional dress, for free.
I didn't wear it but I took a photo of the princess.
We even took some of my favourite photos that someone else has ever taken with me.
Yes, I agree, I draw my eyeliner up to my conscience, which is missing 😈 😂
I think the account here was very suitable for a place like Istanbul, especially in a district like Kadıköy. Approximately 270₺ per person. Which means $10.04 per person.
After we left here, there is a cafe that I had seen with her before and thought she liked because of the teddy bears and we went to take a photo.
Choco Port Kadıkoy
The menu of this cafe is not so wide. Anyway, the concept of the cafe is directly for taking photos. So you have to pay for certain points. Actually, it's not that much. 39₺ ($1,45) is enough for the photo corner. Obviously, neither I nor my guest wanted it because it was very clichéd angel wings.
Actually, I didn't want to take a photo directly in the cafe 😁.... There may or may not be those who will be surprised by this, but it's really not my style. It's not even close to it. But before that, it would be better to give information about the menu.
The menu has less than I expected. Maybe they wanted to go on a small but concise way. You can find the menu on their website instead of an extra website.
We had a sushi pancake that I can't remember the name of. Honestly, it was very difficult to eat. The whipped cream on it made everything difficult. And I, being clumsy, dripped chocolate on me...
And of course, the owners of this cafe are Azerbaijani! I was so surprised. Of course, I immediately started talking. How I forgot, how I rusted by not speaking. Fortunately, I was not as bad as I thought. Although the food and style do not appeal to me, the sweetness of the owners is enough. 😂
The interior design of the cafe was much pinker than I thought. Everything was pink! Except for one place: the ceiling.
Actually, my favourite part of the cafe was the ceiling.
This is the kitchen. It's really small, but it's cute.
Of course, it was time for the last photo shoot. This is where my grumpy photo on the cover was taken and believe me, I was threatened for that photo! My hair was in danger. I did everything I had to do to save my hair. I have no regrets.
The little princess seemed to be quite amused by my facial expressions 😒
In fact, here I was rebelling against her for having so much fun.
As you can see, the corner is completely made up of pink teddy bears and there are also pink details.
We didn't pay any fee for this place except for our own account, but if you look at the website of the cafe, you can see that you can make a reservation. And if someone is already sitting there, unfortunately you don't have a chance to do anything here. Here we divided our account in half and paid 170₺ ($6,32) per person.
After leaving here, we wanted to buy ourselves a drink, even though we had just had something to drink. And the street vendors came to our rescue.
We grabbed two blueberry and strawberry slushies for 30₺ ($1,12) for the medium size and 60₺ ($2,23) in total. I didn't like the taste very much, but I had a great brain freeze. I love brain freezes. 🤣
Afterwards, we visited a lot of shops. From jewellery to clothes, we went almost everywhere without going too far from the famous bull statue.
Here I was saying exactly "I'm a princess" 👑 😂 I bought her 2 jewellery from the bottom of my heart because they were caught in her eye.
And our trip lasted this long. Then we left and my 3-hour journey back started. I hope we can meet her again soon.
