The sunset over the ocean at Ansen Bay on Norfolk Island is absolutely breathtaking.
We were on Norfolk Island for 7 nights and went to this spot on more then one occasion to watch the sunset.
The look out over Ansen Bay has a BBQ, picnic table and public toilets. So it's the perfect spot in the afternoon to relax have some snacks and wait for the sun to disappear over the horizon.
Here are some photos from a couple of different afternoons which all made to a stunning sunset and a great way to end the day.
The most popular view spot for the sun set on Norfolk Island is puppies Point. But this only has a view over the edge of a cliff and you can watch the sun set over the ocean.
But I prefer the look out at Ansen Bay as it is way more photogenic.
And you can choose which side of the bay cliff you want to watch the sunset.
Here is a pic from the right side of the bay.
The sky is very moody when there was alot of cloud cover.
Ansen Bay sure is a magnificent place to watch the sunset while on Norfolk Island!
I took these pic on my Huawei p20 phone then edited them in lightroom. Not bad at all for a camera phone📱📸
