Ruleset

  • Lost Legendaries: can not use the legendary monsters.

  • Unprotected: All monsters not have and can not get any armor from the summoner or monsters ability.

  • Lost Magic, monsters with magic attack can't be used in this battle.

  • Mana cap.

  • Can use element Water, Life, and Dragon.

My Lineup and strategy

Because of the ruleset Lost Legendaries, some good monsters in the Dragon element can't be used. Many good monsters with high damage and good ability in Dragon is Legendary monster. this is one of the considerations why we do not use Dragon element in this battle.

Lost Magic ruleset means we only need to deal with range and Melee damage. Almost guaranteed that the enemy will bring a range attack we will use Wave Brood to reflect the range attack.

Another reason why we don't use the Dragon element is that Dragon summoner Quix can decrease the speed of all enemy monsters by -1, but we want to increase the speed of our tanker monster Diemonshark when the Enrage ability is activated, the speed will increase by the speed we have right now (include buff) x 1.5 rounded up. With this high boost of speed, I think we can evade many attacks from range attacks. so that our tanker in the first position can last longer we decided to use a monster that has the Taunt ability Wave Brood so that the damage from the enemy can be divided between our tanker in 1st position Diemonsark and Wave Brood. We will discuss this more in the battle Discussion.

Summoner or monsterAbilitiesDescription
Kelya Frendul, Give armor and speed +1 to all friendly monsters.Only the speed buff work, because of the ruleset we can not have any armor. High speed will increase the chance for us to attack first, hit the enemy monsters, and evade the attack of the enemy range monsters. Because all monsters do not have any armor all monsters are weaker than usual, we just want to make sure we can attack first
Diemonshark, 1st position, attacker and tanker. Has the Ability Trample, Enrage, and Retaliate. This monster has high HP, and good speed, suitable to become a tanker, *Enrage ability will increase the damage and speed which is already high enough, to activate Enrage ability of the monster's HP needs to be decreased. The Retaliate ability is a dangerous ability when facing the melee monster it has a chance of 50% that this monster will counterattack the attacker. If the enemy we attacked dies then with Trample's ability this monster will attack the monster behind.
Flying Squid, 2nd position, attacker and 2nd tanker. Has the ability Reach, Blind, and Backfire. This monster's attack is not as high as Diemonshark, but he can attack from 2nd position with the Reach ability. The support ability Blind is very useful because give all friendly monster a 15% increase in chance to evade melee and range monster attack. The Backfire ability will be active when the melee/range monster attacks Flying Squid and miss, it will hit back with 2 damage.
Merdaali Guardian, 3rd position, Support, has the ability Tank Heal, Repair, and Strengthen. This monster is crucial in this battle to prolong the life of the monsters in front. With the ability Tank Heal can restore some HP lost from the enemy attack. Repair ability to repair armor is useless in this battle. Strengthen ability give +1 HP to all friendly monster with more HP giving more chance to survive the enemy attack. Put in this position to make sure safe from attack to support the front tanker so can live as long as possible while our Deeplurker destroys the enemy from behind.
Deeplurker, 4th position, attacker. Has ability Opportunity and PoisonHave high damage good speed, and can inflict poison status every time he attack, the chance is 50%. If the enemy is inflicted with poison status, every round the enemy HP will decrease by 2. This is our main attacker.
Supply Runner, 5th position, attacker and Support. Has Swiftness, and Strengthen abilityWe need this monster to further boost all our monster speed by +1 with Swiftness ability. The Strengthen ability will make all of our monsters may live longer by enhancing the HP by +1.
Wave Brood, 6th position, attacker and tanker. Has the ability Taunt, Close Range, Void, and Return Fire. With this monster's Taunt ability, we can split/share the damage between Diemonshark and this monster. Wave Brood Return Fire capable of reflecting damage back to any ranged monster that attacks it. The monster's Taunt ability ensures that enemy monsters will attack this monster if they can. Although Wave Brood is typically a ranged attacker, its Close Range ability allows it to attack even when positioned in the first slot.

The Battle

  • Round 1:
As usual, the battle starts with buff and debuff from both sides. Look like it will be an easy win cause the enemy brings many range monsters 🏹, and the damage will be reflected back by Wave Brood. All of the enemy range monsters are busy attacking our Wave Brood and the damage keeps reflected back decreasing the enemy HP. Our Deeplurker killed the enemy Supply Runner. The enemy Prismologist attack can not hit the Diemonshark due to the high speed ⏩, it has.

  • Round 2 :
In this round, our Deeplurker killed the enemy Pelacor Conjurer and immediately attack the War Pegasus behind. The enemy Pelacor Arbalest killed by our Deeplurker. Our Diemonshark was attacked by Venari Crystalsmith and activated the Enrage ability but too bad it erase the positive buff because it has a Dispel ability, it deletes the speed buff which is important, so we only have 6 damage and 8 speed (it should reach 9 speed if not erase).

  • Round 3:
The enemy Venari Crystalsmith dies attacked by our Deeplurker. Our monster has difficulty hitting the War Pegasus.

  • Round 4:
Woah 😅 all our monsters attacking the War Pegasus but only Flying Squid can hit it. because of that Flying ability makes it hard to hit.

  • Round 5:
Finally, in this round, our Diemonshark can hit the enemy War Pegasus and kill it. The enemy Prismologist dies attacked by our Flying Squid. With the dead of Prismologist the victory becomes ours.

Did your Strategy Work?

The enemy Venari Crystalsmith's Dispel ability, causing all positive buffs from Diemonshark to disappear including the speed buff from our Kelya Frendul summoner and Supply Runner. When the Enrage ability is active the speed increase is not as big as we want. The added speed from the Enrage ability combined with the Blind ability from Flying Squid turns out enough for this battle. Wave Brood monsters that have the Taunt ability are too powerful in this battle, every time the enemy 🏹range monsters attack, our Wave Brood reflects back, there reducing the enemy's HP, when they succeed in killing it, they face our tanker Diemonshark who has a pretty good evasion ability.
while they are busy attacking our tankers Diemonshark and Wave Brood our attack monsters kill the enemy monsters and decrease their HP.
