Ruleset
From left to right :
- Healed Out, all monsters and summoners can't use heal ability.
- Little League, only summoner of monsters who has 4 mana cost can be used in this battle
- Target Practice, all range and magic monsters has the Snipe ability.
- Snipe ability, targets enemy Monsters with Ranged, Magic, or no attack that are not in the first position.
- Has mana cap 28.
- Can use all element.
My Lineup and strategy
Some Tips and strategies we can use :
For this ruleset Healed Out, we avoid using the monster or summoner with Heal ability except has another good ability that is useful in the battle. This is the Little League ruleset so we can't use a monster with the ability Taunt. Although we can't heal we can use monsters with similar abilities like Life Leech.
Little League In this ruleset 4 damage is usually considered the highest damage we can get from the monster, because usually in 4 mana cost monster only has a little HP our strategy is using the highest damage we can use and doing some focus fire attacking 1 enemy monster with many monsters to killed that monsters, high speed is good too because if we can attack first, it has a higher chance to kill the enemy first due to low HP in this ruleset.
Target Practice ruleset We can use this ruleset to force the enemy range or magic monster to attack the monster we choose. Usually, we put a monster who has high speed and can evade the enemy range or magic attack as a Snipe tanker. Or we can force the enemy to attack the monster with Martyr's ability for our advantage.
For this battle, we decided to use Quix the Devious the summoner from Dragon element, to decrease the speed and range damage of the enemy monster, and the second element we will use Life because Life has many monsters with low mana cost who has good attack or defense ability. Usually, we may use the Water element because it has a great healing ability.
Our Strategy is to focus the Sneak attack with the help of Martyr ability to boost the damage, we fortify our tanker in front with a double tanker to give time to get out sneak monster to destroy the enemy. This strategy has a weakness, if the enemy brings many monsters with the sneak ability we may lose because we have a great defense in the front but in the back not that great.
This is my lineup :
| Summoner or monster | Abilities | Description | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Quick the Devious, Summoner. Can decrease enemy monster magic speed and range damage by -1 | We used this Dragon summoner because it can decrease enemy range monster damage and make our monster attack first by reducing the enemy's speed -1 | ||
| Blinding Reflector, 1st position, attacker and tanker. Has the Ability Magic Reflect and Blind. | With only 3 mana cost has good armor and HP this monster is suitable to be a tanker, Magic Reflect will reflect magic damage to the enemy monster, and the Blind ability is a great support ability that can increase the chance to all friendly monsters evade the enemy melee and range monster by 25%. | ||
| Sunkai Harvester, 2nd position, attacker and 2nd tanker. Has the ability Reach, and Oppress. | This will be a 2nd tanker. this monster can attack from this position because it has Reach ability, the Oppress ability will do double damage when attacking monsters with no attack like Pelacor Conjurer, Chaos Agent, etc. Has the lowest armor and HP compared with Blinding Reflector but greater attack and speed. | ||
| Stitch Leech, 3rd position, attacker. Has the ability Sneak, and Life Leech. | This melee monster can attack from any position because has a sneak ability, this monster will attack the opponent in the last position. With Life Leech's ability, I hope this monster can last longer. Every time this monster attacks and decreases the enemy's HP, the HP will increase according to the damage dealt, with high damage and Life Leech this monster is our main attacker. According to our strategy, this monster will get a boost from the Martyr ability. | ||
| Venari Marksrat, 4th position, Support, has the ability Martyr. | Because of the Target Practice ruleset I hope the enemy will bring the monster with range or magic damage, if not this strategy to use martyr ability may not work, This monster needs to die, and if this monster dies all the stats of the monster adjacent to it will increase | . | |
| Dhampir Infiltrator 5th position, Support. Has the ability Sneak, Double Strike, Cripple, and Affliction | With the Double Strike ability this monster every round attack twice and gives total damage of 4. This monster with the Stitch Leech will focus fire attacking the monster in the last position. The cripple ability will decrease the enemy's maximum HP by 1 every time this monster attack hit, useful if the enemy has armor the HP still decreases. Affliction ability is useless in this battle because this ability will disable the healing which already disable by the ruleset. This is the second monster who got a boost from Martyr Ability. With the boost the attack will become 6 every round, this monster has only low HP and no armor though, easy to die. | ||
| Naga Assassin, 6th position, attacker and tanker. Has the ability Taunt, Backfire, and Swiftness. | I use this monster because of the Swiftness ability which can increase all friendly monster speeds by 1. Another reason I put this in the last position is that this monster has a high speed of 6 and maybe can evade several enemy attacks before it dies. The backfire ability will give damage to the enemy monster if this monster can evade the attack. |
The Battle
- Round 1:
The battle started with buff and debuff, as usual. All enemy monster has armor and enemy melee monster got boosts damage because they bring Ravenhood Warden.- Our Naga Assassin die in this round hit by enemy Dhampir Infiltrator without a chance to do anything.
- Our Venari marksrat die, attacked by the enemy Wardenhood Raven, and activated Martyr's ability to boost the stats of our monster Stitch Leech and Dhampir Infiltrator.
- With the boost stats from Venari Marksrat the Stitch Leech who now has 5 damage, attacked the enemy Riftwing and killed it.
- Round 2 :
- Our Dhampir infiltrator which now has 6 damage easily kills the Ravenhood Warden. With the death of the enemy Ravenhood Warden, the armor and boost melee damage from the enemy monster disappear.
- With no armor, Our Stitch Leech easily killed the enemy Dhampir Infiltrator who only has 4 HP, Life Leech it, and the HP becomes 10 now.
- Our Blinding Reflector die in this round was killed by Venari Spellsmith, reflected the magic damage, and give 1 damage to the Venari Spellsmith.
- Our Dhampir Infiltrator HP decreased by 1 attacked by the enemy Dhampir Infiltrator.
- Round 3:
- Our Dhampir Infiltrator attacking the enemy Venari Spellsmith killed it. Venari Spellsmith activated the Redemption giving 1 damage to our armor or HP of the monsters. Our Dhampir Infiltrator who only got 1 HP died because of the Redemption ability.
- Our Sunkai Harvester kills the enemy Xenith Monk.
- Our Stitch Leech attacked the enemy Shadow Snitch giving 5 damage and the enemy Shadow Snitch only left with 2 HP.
- Round 4:
- The enemy Shadow Snitch although has the same speed as our monster attack first and kills the Sunkai Harvester.
- Our Stitch Leech move to the first position and attacked the enemy Shadow Snitch and killed it.
With the death of Shadow Snitch, the victory is ours.
Did your Strategy Work?
Yes, the Strategy is working the boost from Martyr ability really helps a lot to kill the enemy, although only 2 monsters that can focus fire on the enemy monster in the last position but due to high damage it's easy to kill the enemy, the Life Leech ability is a very good ability in the Healing Out ruleset, because can increase so much HP, make this monster become the great tanker at the end of the battle because now has high HP.
Maybe only the death from Naga Assasin which surprised us, although has more speed than the enemy but can't evade a single attack from Dhampir Infiltrator.
The enemy is more focused on attacking our monster in the first position fortunately we bring a good monster as a tanker in front, so the enemy has a hard time killing it.
